My January Blind Date books, Zoo City by Lauren Beukes ($10.87) and Beyond Your Touch by Pat Esden ($10.88). This month I got two paperback books.

Zoo City by Lauren Beukes ($10.87) – This sounds like an interesting take on the paranormal stories I normal read. Having an animal on your back all the time sounds so odd but I’m sure that it really works out. I do love a good procedural and this sounds like it will mix the two together perfectly like a supersized Castle with a touch of Angel all mixed in. I can’t wait!

I love finding new authors each month with my BookCase.Club. This month they sent two new to me authors and both books sound like ones I would pick our myself at the bookstore. I’m most excited for Zoo City as it sounds like a mix of multiple shows that I watch and it has really got me intrigued so its going on my TBR (to be read) pile right next to my chair which is the ones I grab from first and I’ll be grabbing it soon. I’ve been reading a bunch lately so I’ll get to it really soon.
