Being seen for who we truly are, reminds us that we are connected to all things, to each other, and to love.

January’s Beauty Discovery is MAYA CHIA.

The box is filled with white squiggles!

Maya Chia’s best-in-class, multi-correctional eye serum confidently solves skin’s most enduring challenge – the eye contour. Thin, delicate and quick-to-fatigue, the eye area reveals our energy, emotions and internal health, for better or worse. The Eye Achiever offers unprecedented support with a nutrient-dense blend of five macro and micro marine extracts, including astaxanthin, sea fennel, sea lavender, wakame and brown algae extract that flood skin with antioxidants, minerals and vital nutrients. The star performer, supercritical chia seed oil, is joined by raspberry, black cumin seed oil, rooibos tea extract, pomegranate and cranberry to revitalize, restore and strengthen the fragile skin around the eyes. Mission accomplished.

This month’s Sidekick, The Super Blend, The Super Blend, is a supremely concentrated ‘pressed serum’ that packs a super-sized dose of nature’s most active botanicals into a moisture-locking balm.

The information card is loaded with info on this month’s brand and featured items!

There’s also a short message from Beauty Heroes.

Each box has a Hero product plus a sidekick item. This month it’s MAYA CHIA The Eye Achiever and The Super Blend.

The booklet comes with useful information like the product ingredients and a short history of this month’s featured company.

Everything in the January 2018 Beauty Heroes box!

The Super Blend Pressed Serum Moisture Concentrate ($31.50) This pressed serum is really more of a balm. It has a concentrated formula that helps improve wrinkles and fine lines, and it makes the skin look more firm and radiant too. The scent is fantastic, a bit orange-y without being overpowering. Unlike typical balms, I didn’t need to use the back of my nail to scrape it up, i just rubbed my fingertips around in a circle and it melted enough for me to apply. However, it contains beeswax which is not vegan (which is noted in the booklet).

The Eye Achiever Multi-Correctional Serum ($70) Made with natural, organic and wildcrafted ingredients, this eye serum is useful in taking care of the sensitive skin around the eye area. It is highly concentrated and quick absorbing for maximum effect.

Additional information about the serum can be found on the box. Ingredients include astaxanthin, sea fennel, sea lavender, wakame, and algae extract. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in moisture in the ew days I’ve been using this product.

I love the rollerball applicator. It’s cooling and soothing, plus it makes it super likely for me to keep at my desk for more frequent application.

I liked the daytime and nighttime routines this month vs the typical regular vs extended routine – it just made sense! It’s amazing how I get to learn and try out these great new products for just $39 a month, especially with a total value of over $100!
