So Susan Color Curate is a monthly makeup subscription bag from the UK that delivers an adorable bag stuffed with goodies from So Susan and their related makeup lines (Jelly Pong Pong, Trifle, etc). They also have the cutest packaging! FYI – they changed the name of the subscription month, it was formerly known as So Susan Lip Love.
This bag features four products, one of which is considered a bonus. So Susan is vegan, cruelty free, and paraben-free as well.

Eco-Chic Makeup Bag ($12) This lovely bag has a water-resistant inner lining and a rust-resistant zipper.
The outside is so durable and I love the koi!
Triffle Cosmetics Truffle Mascara ($24) A well-pigmented and super volumizing mascara with ingredients that include agave and vanilla extracts, which leaves the lashes with a nice silky shine.
The applicator has stiff bristles that make it easier to achieve full lashes. Trifle suggests to glide it in a zig-zag motion from side to side and base to tip to achieve maximum volume, length and lift.
So Susan Liquid Matte Lipstick In Chocolate Berry ($14) The liquid lippie craze is not yet over! A new addition to my collection is this warm shade between brown and dark red. The color is an intense look – but it looks great on! Thankfully it doesn’t feel sticky. It’s long lasting and non-flaky too! I found that this formula was nice and thick and didn’t wear off easily with oil.
Stardrops By Jelly Pong Pong ($34) This highlighter can be used alone or added on liquid foundation and creams for that instant golden glow. Its main ingredients are starfruit extract and golden argan oil. 1 to 3 drops should be enough for a moderate color, but if you want a deeper color you have to add 4 or more.
FYI – the light activated is sort of a misnomer. It makes your skin glow because of the golden shade, but it doesn’t need light to work! I do love how you can go full unicorn with these or mix for a softer glow.
BONUS: Dream Palette In Nightingale By Jelly Pong Pong ($20) I like the colors on this eye shadow palette, they’re great for creating a subtle smoky look in what I want to call sugarplum inspired!
We all know that the eye area is quite sensitive, but these didn’t feel dry on the skin. The shadows also contain vitamin K that helps in alleviating dark circles and copper peptide that promotes collagen and elastin growth. Most importantly they’re well pigmented and glide right on, and stay great!

The warm colors and the glimmer of this month’s make-up haul from So Susan are perfect for creating a stunning holiday look. This subscription sends the most basic make-up, but they never fail to impress me when it comes to value and quality. I loved all the items this month but the highlighter and the liquid lippie definitely stood out!
