Runner’s World Box is a subscription box curated by the editors of Runner’s World magazine and promises to be filled with running gear, accessories, nutritious snacks, and other cool stuff. This is one of my favorite sport boxes. Runner’s World does a great job of including things that runners (and other active folks) like, want, and will definitely use. Subscriptions are $29.99 plus shipping/month.

Here’s a look at everything in the October box. I’m a big fan already of Munk Pack protein cookies, but I’ve never seen whatever those things are in the DrySure bag. Let’s see all the fun stuff in this month’s box is!

On one side of the information card is a letter from the Runner’s World editors. Sometimes, it introduces the theme of the box or a particular item. Other times, like this month, the letter is a bit more generic.

The other side of the information card provides details about each of the items in the box, including product information, hints for using, and suggested retail prices.

Runner’s World X Stance Performance Running Socks ($18): Oh my goodness! These socks are hysterical. Not only do the front of the socks feature Bart Yasso, long time contributor to Runner’s World (and running in general)…

But the back of the socks are the back of Bart! I totally rolled on the floor when I pulled these socks out. In addition to being super funny, these are really nice running socks, with just enough cushioning and plenty of ventilation to be extra comfortable.

Fiordifrutta Organic Fruit Spread Samples ($2): Each of these little fruit jar cards includes a generous sample of jam – one apricot and one strawberry. This jam includes organic fruit, natural fruit pectin, and apple juice… and no added sugar, which is awesome. I haven’t tried the strawberry yet, but the apricot is delicious.

Munk Pack Protein Cookies ($2/pack): I have tried these protein cookies before and really like them. They include 18 g of protein but taste like regular cookies. Yum!

DrySure Shoe Dryer ($38): Wet shoes are so gross! And there’s no great way to get them dry – we’ve tried paper towels, newspapers, and more. So I was delighted to see this item in this month’s box. These plastic inserts are supposed to dry shoes 12 times faster than other methods, without heat and without electricity. Thankfully, I haven’t had the chance to try these out – I avoid running in the rain unless it’s race day – but I’m looking forward to using these the next time I have wet shoes.

Minute Ready to Serve Multi-Grain Rice Medley ($2): We love rice and quinoa bowls in our house. This product makes bringing these rice bowls for lunch even more convenient. Heat the rice up in the microwave for just a minute, add some meat and veggies, and voila – lunch! Super easy and very tasty.

Gatorade Endurance Powder Packet ($2): I do Ironman triathlons (among other things), so I’m well acquainted with Gatorade Endurance drinks. This powder pouch is a simple way to bring electrolytes on a bike ride or long run – just add water.

I liked this month’s box from Runner’s World – and I’m especially looking forward to trying out the DrySure shoe dryer! With items like this, it’s clear that the Runner’s World Box is made for runners, by runners. If you’re a runner or otherwise love active sports, try this box – I think you’ll like it!
