The Gentleman’s Box is now offering a premium quarterly box! Expect to receive luxurious accessories and high-quality goods. Boxes will be themed around a different city each quarter.

I ordered the fall crate for my eighteen-year old-son who dresses up for work and his internship. I was surprised by how heavy the box felt. I opened the box and saw that the items were packed in a wood gift box.

The crate itself weighs four pounds. I am not a fan of subscription boxes using crates because no one will use them in my household. It also adds to the shipping costs. However, I am impressed with the Woodchuck Company. They plant a tree for every item purchased. Also, “Our Entire Staff Is Located In Minneapolis, MN. Designers, Engineers, Assemblers And Shippers All Work In The Same Place So You Can Have A Seamless Experience.”

The items were securely packaged in the crate which was wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a brown shipping box. My crate arrived intact and can be reused. It measures 12″L x 12’W x 5’H.

The Information booklet provides details about the products, prices, and tips.

The table of contents also lists the total retail value of the box as $357.00. The curator letter explained the idea behind the quarterly box.

The theme for the first Premium Box is five different cities that have unique styles. Subsequent boxes will focus on one city.

Here are the items in the debut Premium Box by Gentleman’s Box. T (age 18) and I are eager to check it out.

Our first city is Toronto, Ontario, Canada. T appreciates the style tips included in the booklet.

The exquisite Doctor Doctor Tie by Tie Doctors ($65.00) is made from 100% pure silk. The Toronto company honors doctors by donating portions of all profits to Doctors without Borders.

The 3″ wide tie brings T’s wardrobe up to a new level while helping those that need medical attention.

Dallas, Texas is our next stop. T and his friends are all about socks especially comfy, colorful socks.

The Dead Soxy Ford Sock ($25.00) came in a sexy, black envelope. The easy-going socks can be worn with dress shoes, boots, sneakers, or nothing at all.

The comfortable socks will never fade, slip, shrink, or fall.

The brown cuff adds a bit of a surprise to the socks.

Coming from Stockholm, Sweden are the Sudio Regent Headphones ($99.00) and Black Marble Design Caps ($20.00).

The box was packaged in shrinkwrapped and ready to be gifted or opened. The box presentation is impressive.

The high quality folded headphones have a 24+ hour playtime and 20 days standby time.

The Bluetooth 4.1 technology gives a range of 10 meters.

All buttons and charging areas are discretely located at the bottom of the headphones and do not distract from the design.

Included in the box are the Regent Headphones, audio cable, charging cable, guarantee card, owner’s manual and quick start guide.

The Sudio Marble Design Caps give the headphones a sophisticated look. My sister is the lucky new owner of the Regent Headphones and Design Caps because T does not use over the ear headphones.

It’s time to head on over to New York City.

The buttery soft Jack + Mulligan Presley Travel Kit ($128.00, guesstimate $100.00?) is made from full-grain calfskin leather with a nylon lining. The handmade in the USA kit measures 8.5″ L x 4.5″ H x 4″ W. It is described as having an exterior pocket and three interior pockets. My travel kit does not have an exterior pocket and has one interior pocket which has me guesstimating the value to be around $100.00. I do wish we received the one as described because the exterior zipper pocket gives it a sharp look.

I could not find any mention on their social media or an email describing why a substitution occurred. It’s a shame because it does distract from the quality of the travel kit. Nevertheless, it is the type of superb leather good that I would expect to find in the Gentleman’s Box Premium Box.

Time to enjoy rock glasses from Louisville, Kentucky.

The dishwasher-safe Jim Beam Black® Rock Glasses ($20.00) is the perfect way to enjoy a drink. I was surprised to find out that they have the perfect shape and weight balance because they are lightweight glasses. I was expected them to weigh more.

I noticed my picture failed to capture the logo clearly. I decided to follow the Gentleman’s tip on the back cover and not worry.

I did notice “Drink Smart®” on the back of the glasses. Drink Smart® is Beam Suntory’s alcohol education program that assist consumers in making responsible choices. The glasses will head to the farm house where there always seems to be a shortage of glassware.

Gentleman’s Box provided tips for creating the ultimate dopp kit and the perfect cocktail.

The first Premium Box by the Gentleman’s Box took us on a whirlwind tour of five different cities. My only complaint is that Gentleman’s Box should had communicated the substitution with the travel kit. My 18 year-old-son and I were pleased with the quality and selection of the items in the box. The companies provided luxurious, stylish items that would interest any man or teenage boy (minus the alcohol-related item) that are seeking premium items.
