Sports Crate: MLB Edition is the newest member of the Loot Crate family and the first sport from Sports Crate. This monthly box includes 5-7 team-specific gear, collectibles, and more in every box for $39.99 per month. The subscription lasts the length of the season.
We selected the Boston Red Sox box. The subscription currently offers a choice of 10 MLB teams, but the number may grow next year.
DEAL: Save $10 off your subscription with code ALLIN10!
All of the MLB items in the crate are officially licensed, complete with logo and holograms on the packaging. We also received a certificate in our first box to welcome us and assure us of the authenticity of the contents.
Everything in my August 2017 Sports Crate: MLB Edition box!
The theme is ALL IN!
There’s an invite to download Home Run Derby for free. I don’t really recall getting an activation code. Again.
And if this is your first MLB crate, you’ll receive a code for a month free access to MLB TV.
You could also win a VIP experience, meeting your favorite players on the field!
The information sheet guides you through this month’s inclusions.
Topps Dustin Pedroia Trading Card: The card in this exclusive series matches the figure.
Some stats on the back – and it comes in a nice little sleeve.
Tervis Tumbler ($16.99) This is an awesome item! This insulated tumbler is BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
It has all the Sox logos all over it and a sipper spout that can be moved back and forth.
’47 Brand Red Sox Hat ($21.99)
This adjustable hat is from 47 brands and has a nice broken in look already.
No snaps – a nice adjustable buckle instead.
Holooo!
And a fantastic embroidered logo. This hat is such a nice quality for a box.
Dustin Pedroia Action Figure: I think we have found the reason for the shipping delays with Sports Crate – the figures! They are being re-engineered and ours will be here hopefully by the end of September.
I really wish Sports Crate had ironed out the shipping issues earlier because their boxes are really getting great. I totally love the Tervis mug and the Sox cap. This box felt a bit light without the figure (and maybe even a bit light with the figure) but I can’t help but think the non-figure items were really top quality this crate – the value for those 2 items alone was $39!
