Everything in my box! It’s out with the old and in with the new this month and indeed, all of these items were new to me, as were the makers!
Yorba Organics Softening Foot & Heel Balm ($14.95) contains wild-harvested mafura, a plant with anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. I loved that it was moisturizing without leaving my feet greasy, so I didn’t have to worry about slipping on the bathroom tiles in the middle of the night. My feet absorbed this minty scented butter/lotion immediately. Watch out, shea butter – mafura is hot on your heels!
Moondani Natural Natural Breath Mint in Mystical Mint ($8.50) Wow, this stuff packs a punch and really works, at least for a little while.
Just shake and then spray one to two times in your mouth. The ingredients are distilled water, organic vegetable glycerin, ginger extract, cardamom oil, fennel oil, and plant-based food oils for flavoring. It’s a bit minty, a bit like cardamom, which is a natural breath freshener on its own. Perfect to place in a makeup bag just in case!
Ujjayi Charcoal Whitening Tooth & Gum Powder ($14.99) Ooh, I’m getting some crunchy granola vibes from this product! Bentonite clay, coconut charcoal, aluminum free baking soda, coconut oil, peppermint essential oil, and tea tree oil are the all-natural ingredients.
I sprinkled some of the powder in my hand and then dipped my wet toothbrush in it before applying to my teeth. I looked pretty weird and my sink was a bit of a mess, but it left my teeth clean and reminded me of brushing with plain old baking soda. I use a toothpaste containing fluoride (I know some people choose not to) so I think I will stick to this in the morning and my traditional toothpaste at night.
Delizioso Fragrance-Free Makeup Remover ($24.95) I always use an oil to remove my makeup before using a creamy cleanser to wash it all away and this was a wonderful makeup remover. I used it on my eyes and my face and was surprised at how well it removed eyeliner and mascara. I didn’t detect any scent in this mix of safflower seed oil, rice bran oil, avocado oil, and olive oil.
What an great mix of products in the September Kloverbox! I loved trying these products and more importantly, discovering these all-natural, cruelty-free & vegan brands! September’s box had a value of $63.39, which is amazing! Kloverbox is one of my favorite subscriptions and this month’s box was one of the best ever!
