Chococurb is a monthly subscription containing extraordinary, premium, gourmet chocolates – this isn’t your convenience store candy! These items can come from small, local chocolatiers or more established national brands. Every box will have something new, exciting, and absolutely delicious. You can choose from the Classic Box ($35), which contains 5-7 items, or choose the Mini ($20), which has 3 items for smaller appetites. Shipping is free during the cooler months but expect to pay for FedEx shipping in the warmer months. I am reviewing the Classic Box today!

Chococurb wants to help you discover chocolate that you will love so they have a short questionnaire that you fill out to let them know your preferences.

The chocolate was wrapped in insulated bubble wrap and placed inside of a box that was then placed inside of a styrofoam cooler with some ice packs (no longer cold) underneath and around the box.

I received 6 different items this month and they all sound so yummy! I always enjoy the variety – white, dark, or milk chocolate; nuts, caramel, everything!

Yum!

Jcoco Edamame Sea Salt in Milk Chocolate “Take a trip to Asia with the taste of roasted edamame and sea salt in this bar. Just don’t blame us if you’re craving sushi afterwards.”

I was a little hesitant to try this at first, since I’m not a fan of edamame. I did grow up eating roasted soy beans, and this is pretty much the same thing. Slightly salty and with smooth milk chocolate and crispy peanut-like pieces.

Chococurb x Chocolat Moderne Smoked Sea Salt Avant-Garde Bar “Milk chocolate with salted caramel. Dark chocolate with salted caramel. What’s wrong with white? Nothing. This is the white chocolate version of the timeless chocolate combination you already love. It’s absolutely fantastic.”

Isn’t it a work of art?

The inside features caramel accented with Halen Môn sea salt. The effect is luscious and rich. Chocolat Moderne is one of my favorite discoveries from Chococurb and this particular bar is a limited edition and yes, it IS fantastic!

Theo Salted Toffee Dark Chocolate Bar “Each bite, in all its smooth, dark chocolate glory, contains sweet, crunchy, and buttery chunks of toffee. The pinch of sea salt finishes everything perfectly.”

The toffee in this bar is crunchy and adds contrast to the not overly sweet dark chocolate.

Forté Orange Jazz “Do you remember the classic orange chocolate ball? Now you don’t have to long for it anymore! And even if you don’t remember, you’ll still be delighted by this wonderful citrus and dark chocolate combo.”

Chocolate and orange are a classic pairing and as mentioned above, this is similar to a Terry’s Chocolate Orange. Smooth dark chocolate and orange oil perfection.

Alma Sea Salt Hazelnut Crunch Bar “We can’t decide what we like more about this bar–the smooth, small batch hazelnut praline inside, or the hard-candied, crunchy hazelnut chunks on top. Luckily, Alma gives us both, and they even sprinkle some some Jacobsen Salt Co. sea salt on top.”

This bar is an explosion in the mouth! Crunchy hazelnut praline chocolate fluff is covered with dark chocolate and then topped with candied hazelnuts and a sprinkle of sea salt from Oregon. Share with someone extra special. Or don’t. I won’t tell.

Justin’s Mini Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups “Hooray! Toy poodles, bonsai trees and miniature horses now have a new mini friend, thanks to my delicious mini peanut butter cups.”

I love this brand’s larger peanut butter cups, but the texture was different in these mini cups. The filling was dry and powdery, whereas the larger ones were creamy. The flavor was fine but it still left me wondering if they were supposed to be this way or if they are old. I saw similar complaints on Amazon.

Chococurb is so good and full of uncommonly wonderful chocolates. I truly love getting this box since these bars are extraordinary and maybe not something I would pick out for myself – like a special present each month from me to me! I love chocolate and these bars are so satisfying that just a bit is needed to fulfill your cravings/sweet tooth/PMS needs. Check out the Chococurb website for some more excellent choices for all of your chocolate needs!
