Runner’s World Box is a subscription box curated by the editors of Runner’s World magazine and promises to be filled with running gear, accessories, nutritious snacks, and other cool stuff.  I am a HUGE fan of Runner’s World Box.  Honestly, if I had to pick one box to get for the rest of my life (horrible thought, I know), this would be the box!  Everything in it is perfect for runners, like me!

Subscriptions are $29.99 plus shipping/month.  Let’s see what completely awesome things came in this month’s box!

Here’s a look at everything in the July box. A great mix of new-to-me stuff and old favorites I love!

On one side of the information card, there’s a “letter” from one of the Runner’s World editors. Sometimes, it’s providing a theme for the month. Other times, like this month, it’s just telling you about some of the awesome things in the box.

The flip side of the information card describes the enclosed items, along with suggestions for use and suggested retail price. Let’s take a closer look at these goodies.

Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix ($4): Mmmm. Waffles.  This little box of waffle mix was delicious, plus the mix is whole grain with lots of protein. And it’s super easy – just add water! I hadn’t tried this brand before, but I’ll definitely be buying some in the future.

Biena Chickpea Snacks ($3.58): A number of healthy snack subscription boxes have been including chickpea snacks and I’m OK with them. But the Biena ones in this box – these are more than just OK. The Rockin’ Ranch flavor was ah-mazing! I wanted to lick the inside of the packaging, it was so good. (That’s weird, I know – but I’m just being honest here.) I could totally see adding these to my snack rotation.

KT Tape Pro ($19.99): Oh, KT Tape. The product I hate to love. See…I use KT Tape, but only when I’m injured or coming back from being injured. And I hate being injured, but KT Tape seems to help me keep up running when I’m hurt. So I hate to love it. But that all being said, it’s a great addition for a running box, because all runners I know are injured at some point.

Feetures Merino+ Running Socks ($15.99): Swoon. I love, love, love Feetures socks. I wear them for all of my running, but I’ve never tried the Merino+ variety before. Now I’m even more in love – the material keeps your feet dry by wicking away moisture (which also makes your feet a lot less stinky). Hooray!

Gatorade Endurance Energy Gel ($1.50): I’m a long-time user of Gatorade drinks, but apparently they have new energy gels. I’m not a gel snob – I’ll pretty much use whatever I have or whatever the race is offering on the course, but I found this one to be pretty good.

SweatX Stain Remover and Laundry Detergent ($15): Runners know that athletic clothes stink… even after you wash them. Microfiber tech t-shirts are awesome for running in, but they’re impossible to get clean, right? SweatX does a pretty good job of getting rid of runner funk. I haven’t used the stain remover yet, but I ran a load of smelly training clothes with the laundry detergent and I’m pretty sure they smell better than the last time they were clean.

I love Runner’s World Box. Every single thing in the box is something I love (and am happy to have more of) or something new to love (and I’m happy to learn about it). The editors from Runner’s World are clearly runners and know exactly what runners love and want. If you’re a runner, try this box out – I think you’ll love it too!
