Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” For only $15 per month, you receive four cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, or 12-month terms and all items are sans the “Dirty Thirty” and of course free of all animal derived products.

FYI – Petit Vour will be increasing its price to $18 and the new expected value for the box will be $45-60. Subscribers can retain the $15 per month price with a prepaid yearly subscription.

The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!

Everything in my box!

I received 4 items this month and they were from four different beauty areas – I love it when I receive a nice variety of products!

Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream ($12) I needed a new hand cream and this one makes some pretty big promises and I really hope it can deliver! I have spots on the backs of my hands thanks to the summer sun and this cream is supposed to help with that as well as minimize fine lines.

Aloe, shea butter, and jojoba oil all help often hands while malic acid goes to work on those discolorations and vitamin C works its magical unwrinkling powers. The scent is tolerable and it wasn’t too greasy and I am happy to have a new hand lotion!

Kaia Naturals The Takesumi Detox Deodorant in Juicy Bamboo ($9.50) Wow, that’s an expensive sample considering it goes in your arm pits, however, some people are into heavy detoxing so this might be worth it to the them.

Bamboo charcoal is the star ingredient and is supposed to draw out toxins and bacteria. Arrowroot powder and aloe are a couple of the other ingredients and it is free of baking soda.

It is a solid but broke off as soon as I tried applying it. I ended up smearing it all around, then washing the residue off of my hands. The scent is lemon fresh but I don’t think I will be switching, although it was nice to give it a try.

NOTO Multi-Benne Tint ($18.50) can be used on the eyes, lips, or cheeks and smells minty fresh.

I’m a little confused – the container shows 10 ingredients but Petit Vour only lists 6 ingredients, as does the NOTO website. Why the difference?

The shade is called Oscillate and is supposed to be deep red orange.

Here it is swatched. I liked that it was kind of sheer, but it immediately spread outside of my lips for a weird look. It looked good on my cheeks and I am not even going to try putting this pepperminty product near my eyes. It left my lips cool and tingly though!

Soapwalla The Balm ($5.44) This is some super-concentrated stuff! It instantly melts as soon as you apply it to wherever you need it – face, under eyes, scaly elbows, rough heels, the list goes on. I tried it on my lips and am happy to report that it left them super soft and has a pleasant herbal flavor.

I have read that this can do amazing things for the face and eye area and I can’t wait to see if it works long term. I have red skin on my face and frankincense can help reduce inflammation while horse chestnut may support circulation.

I’m always amazed because I feel like Petit Vour sends items that are perfect for me and my needs! I like the variety of items, too, and feel like it hits several different beauty areas each month. I enjoyed all of this month’s items and am having a hard time picking a favorite. This month’s box had a value of around $45.44, which is more 3 times the cost of the box!
