The August theme was “Vintage Boho.” I absolutely love that they custom design the boxes to match the themes and packaging! It’s too cute!

Cardamom Rose Coconut Milk Lotion Spray ($8) Combines brown sugar, spicy green cardamom pods, oakmoss and Moroccan rose absolute to make the skin feel smoother and softer. This is a great alternative to regular lotions because it is more lightweight and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. The rose wasn’t too powerful for me to use – typically not a big fan!
Organic Beauty Balm Prep + Prime ($21) This multi-functional formula is lightweight and has a great coverage. It can either be used as a regular colorless primer or mixed with mineral powder (foundation, blush, or color collector) to match your skin tone. Made with organic ingredients and also contains DMAE – said to have anti-aging and moisturizing properties. This was a good product for me – it had moisturizing qualities – but I’m not sure how it would work as a primer for oily skin.
Bohemian Chic Perfume Roll-On ($18) A fruity-floral scent that lingers on the skin with the unmistakable scent of fabric softener.
It contains satsuma and sugar cane essence, so I’m not sure how it turned out that way, but my husband (with the expert nose) agreed.
Cinnamon Sugar Lip Mask ($12)
Wild At Heart Natural Eyeshadow ($12.50)
This leave-on lip mask provides nourishment and moisture to the lips. It contains organic aloe leaf juice, organic alcohol, and organic olive fruit oil.
It’s also pretty easy to use. You just have to leave it on your lips for 5 minutes and then you’re good to go. No need to rinse! Also it smells like cake batter – delicious!
This muted eyeshadow shade is perfect for an effortless yet chic look.
Feels soft on the skin and super pigmented! It’s like a golden taupe?
This month’s box had a nice combination of skincare and makeup items. I wish I liked the scent more but it just wasn’t for me. Vintage Boho is such a nice theme, perfect as we enjoy the last few weeks of summer and welcome the freshness of fall. Already looking forward to full-blown fall themed boxes from Orglamix!
