Every month Target launches non-subscription Target Beauty Boxes.  Depending on the contents, they are themed and cost $5-10, and sell out quickly! This box was available for $7 but is now sold out.

July’s box is Summer-themed.

Bring on the bonfires, BBQs and poolside parties. Inside this box, you’ll find a few of our beauty faves that’ll give you some extra sparkle this summer. Try ’em out, and if you love them as much as we do, find the full-size version at Target.com/BeautyBox.

Everything in the box. The July Target Beauty Box was $7.

The information card gives brief details on each item, and there’s a $3 off $15 coupon too.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon ($0.20) The promo photo for this box didn’t show a packette – it showed a tube, so this was a surprise.

I don’t really have frizzy hair, so I tucked this away for a friend that swears by this product!

Que Bella Limited Edition Duo Peel Off Mask in Dead Sea Mud & Pineapple ($1.32 each)  Hello Pineapple! I loved this one – I can’t resist pineapple or a peel-off mask and it didn’t disappoint.

The pineapple was hydrating and the clay mask gets your skin squeaky clean with deep-cleansing dea-sea minerals.

Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($1.76) These soft makeup remover towelettes work really well and aren’t too dry or too wet and work great on eye makeup and mascara. Honestly I think these are the standard to measure all cleansing cloths by!

Scunci Cashmere Headwraps in Black and Charcoal ($1.99)

This black and gray charcoal pair of headbands are soft and fuzzy and wrapped all the way around. They don’t have a grip strip so they may slip, but worked well for my hair, especially for keeping it off my face during my skincare routine.

There’s a coupon on the back for more!

ACURE Day Cream ($9.70) This is over half-size! It uses gotu kola extract and chlorella and is a nice light hydrating day cream. I love everything about Acure and this goodie is a real win – no wonder this box sold out so quickly!

Secret Cool Waterlily Clear Gel Deoderant ($1.06) I love gel and roll-on deodorants. I am really lazy and I feel like it’s less work. It smells good and I was sold on this box once I saw this – I needed a travel size deo!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer ($2.65) This oil free hydration booster provides quick super hydration without a sticky feel. The scent is a little much but it dissipated quickly.

e.l.f. Illuminating Mist & Set ($3) This mist is supposed to set your makeup as well as provide an illuminating effect with light-reflecting particles. I didn’t get any effect from this product at all.

The mist was too much (should have been finer).  I will use it instead for elf’s alternate suggested use: “To intensify an eyeshadow color and to add a little shimmer spray a little of the e.l.f. illuminating mist & set on an e.l.f. brush to saturate the hair prior to dipping into eyeshadow.”

I calculated a value of about $23 for this month’s box – which is over three times the cost. I’m really happy with the July box and I’m hoping that the instant sell-out shows Target that this is what we’re looking for!
