Orange Glad says this size box will “make 1-2 people happy.” I enlisted my family to try these treats so 4 people were made happy this month!

There was an information book inside that contained details about the companies, treats, and best-by dates. I love this beach sunset picture and I think I will place it by my desk for a mini mind break.

I enjoyed reading about the makers and learning a bit about their companies!

There was a change in products so the booklet wasn’t accurate, however, Orange Glad included a printout on the change.

Everything arrived in perfect condition! Well, except for the broken cookies, but I plan on dividing those up anyways.

Sweet Dames Artisan Confections Coconut Macaroons were just right, sweet and chewy and toasty on the outside.

Yum, very moist!

There were two products from the husband and wife duo of Whimsy & Spice. Chocolate Orange Cardamom Shortbread Cookies “Rich, dark chocolate flavored with light, fresh orange zest and cardamom accents harmonize for a most delightful shortbread cookie with an excellent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.”

I think the description says it all! Crispy, melt-in-your-mouth texture with deep chocolate flavor enhanced with a bit of orange peel and cardamom. Most of the cookies were broken but they are kind of delicate.

Cinnamon Chocolate Malt Biscotti “A lovely malted milk biscotti flecked with large milk chocolate chunks are a classic combination updated with the delicate flavor of freshly ground Ceylon cinnamon.”

Cookie croutons! I’m not a fan of biscotti, although I imagine these would be good with coffee. The cinnamon was very light and the chocolate chips were huge. I was surprised that these were so broken up as they are very hearty cookies.

I received two of Cheryl’s Summer Breeze Buttercream Frosting Cut-Out Cookies which are part of 1-800-Flowers. Whenever I receive a frosted cookie in a box I expect it to be hard and tasteless, with even harder and less tasty frosting. Enter Cheryl’s cookies…

These are amazing! I thought they tasted delicious and had a super yummy vanilla buttercream frosting. It was moist, similar to a bakery frosted cookie, and although both cookies were broken they had the grace to break into four pieces for my family.

Right now we are in the heat of summer and shortbread or similar types of cookies usually ship well at this time of year, although it looks like USPS played soccer with my box! I am always excited to see what our country’s talented artisan dessert makers are producing and everything was delicious, fresh, easy to share, and tasty!
