Fit Snack is a monthly subscription box delivering healthy nutritious snacks directly to your door. Every month, expect 7-10 full-size items plus samples of delicious and healthy snack foods. Fit Snack curates its boxes according to the following criteria:

  • Each product always containing two or more of the following: GMO-free, high in protein, low in sugar, gluten free, organic, raw, vegan and all natural.
  • Plus, we add in bonus items such as energy boosters, nutritional supplements, or refreshing beverages.
  • Finally, we find a little space for exclusive workouts, workout gear or other active lifestyle inspiration.

Here’s a look at everything in the June box. I’m happy to see an old favorite – I LOVE Rise Buddy crisps!!! Unfortunately, there are quite a few things in the box I didn’t particularly like. Ah well, that’s variety for you.

DEAL: Save $3 on your first box! Deal applies automatically, just visit and subscribe.

The information card always includes a workout on one side. This month’s workout is aptly titled “Summer Workout.”

The other side of the information card provides details about the enclosed items. Let’s see what this month’s box brought to my house.

Ellyndale Naturals Q Cup: I like to store these little cups in my desk for days that I forget my lunch (or eat my lunch before lunch, because that totally happens some days). This one had a pretty good flavor – I love barbecue and black beans.

Fawen Drinkable Soup: I have gotten a Fawen soup last month from Fit Snack, but it was sweet potato and quite delicious. This one… well… I don’t really like beets or cabbage, and the combination of both didn’t appeal to me at all. I tried it – and maybe if you like those flavors you will like this, but it was not a hit for me.

Amsety Nutrition Bar: Fit Snack has also sent Amsety bars before. These bars are designed to support liver health. They are fine – not great. I prefer the peanut butter flavor over the chocolate.

Rise Buddy Rice Crisps: OK, I’ll admit it. I totally love Rise Buddy rice crisps. They have a great flavor and crunch, just like chips, but they’re made of rice and are baked, not fried. They come in typical chip flavors, like BBQ – this month, sour cream and onion. I can’t get enough Rise Buddy.

Nutiva Hazelnut Spread: Previously, FitSnack has sent me a full-size jar of this spread, which is delicious. The portable single-serving pouches are pretty useful too – great for fueling on the go!

Swish4 Energy Mouth Rinse: So, in the category of not-food, this month Fit Snack included a caffeinated mouth rinse. Basically, you swish and spit and end up with fresh breath and heightened alertness. I’ll be honest – this is not my jam. I like my caffeine from a nice cuppa joe. I’ve also complained before that Fit Snack includes too many not-food items. Even though they promise 7-10 full-size items, if some of those items are not actually snacks, you can’t rely on this subscription to fill your snack drawer at work or the like. I was disappointed to see this.

Muscle Research Whey Isolate Protein Powder: These packages of protein powder were the extra goodies this month. I’m a protein smoothie junkie, so these always come in handy in my house.

This month’s box was not a big hit with me (except for those Rise Buddy rice crisps) – but your mileage may vary. This box was better than some previous months for including actual snacks, but it still bothers me when Fit Snack includes things like mouth rinse as one of the feature items.
