Annie’s Simply Beads Kit-of-the-Month Club is a monthly jewelry subscription box where YOU make your own creation! For $19.99 per month, you’ll receive a beading kit with step-by-step instruction and all the beads and findings you need to complete a piece of jewelry you’ll love to wear!

This kit is the “Midnight Sparkle” where you get to make a necklace with its earrings and bracelet!

The kit comes in a plastic tray with deep dishes to keep all your beads and findings separate. It comes with its own plastic cover so you can move it around, even if you are not done with your project yet. The beads and findings were nicely packaged in plastic bags inside the dishes in the tray.

The booklet has nice and clear pictures of the individual components in the kit. This time, we get snowflake obsidian (I love gemstones!!!!) and rondelle crystals! Everything is so pretty together!

There’s also a list of the techniques you’ll be using. You need to keep the Beading Guide you’ve received with the first shipment, but on the website there’s a tutorial video for each kits for further explanations. By the way, this kit is ALL about simple loop. Good practice!

The instructions are clear and comes with pictures. The assembly patterns are also very easy too understand and follow.

This kit is all about making simple loops. A lot of them. I LOVE making loops, I find it so zen. As you can see on my mat, I’m a serial looper! I usually work in batches of five. From right to left : getting ready, threading the beads, bending the wire, cutting the wire, making the loop.

After about an hour or two of zenitude, I was done with all the loops!

After a lot of “opening and closing” loops, we are done with sets. Last step is to put everything together.

Final Result! The necklace is 30″ long, way too long for myself, but it’s pretty easy to fix the length to your own preferences. I really like the mix of the black and white stone with the light silver of the crystals.

We also made a bracelet and earrings. The bracelet is way too long for my tiny wrist at almost 9″ long, but there was a bit of chain included in the kit and my husband suggested that I turn it into an anklet! The earrings are simple and can easily be worn with the set or by themselves.

Even though I was less excited about this project than the previous ones, as this is something I do quite often on my own, it was still an other fun project from Annie’s Simply Beads Kit-of-the-Month. This was a lengthier project than the previous one, but it was perfect to practice making loops!

Annie’s Simply Beads Kit-of-the-Month is perfect for beginners, or for someone more advanced who just wants to sit down with everything needed to make a fun design without having to think about it.  Few techniques are needed to achieve great looks that can be reproduced with different type of beads and findings. The tray is an added bonus as I was able to move everything from my beading room to the living room without any problem.

Have you tried this Kit-of-the-Month? What did you think of this project?

My son was going to visit his son. Wanted to send a gift for the mother so got out the Midnight Sparkle kit. Started making the loops and the “silver” was peeling off the eye pins, exposing a rusty looking wire. Very disappointed.

I’m sorry to hear that! The ones I’ve received so far have all been fun and the final results wearable. Their kits have a lot of variety, it’s a shame you’ve got a bunch in a row not to your liking.
