Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription – get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and haircare items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands.

TIP: If you like this subscription, check out our list of Birchbox alternatives for similarly priced subscriptions.

The theme for June is Volume Up.

This polka dot bag is so stinking cute this month!

This is one of my favorite ipsy bags – maybe because it’s canvas? I love swiss dots, too.

Everything in my June bag. There are many bag variations every month for ipsy –  log in to your account to check out how-to videos and tips for your products. They’ve also started emailing out product information and tips from their influencers!

The Balm Blush in Instain Pin Stripe Long Wearing Powder Staining Blush ($3.89)

So I guess wearing this totally fall color in summer is how I’m supposed to “Volume Up”! I’m not a big fan of the samples from the Balm – they come extremely frequently and they’re super tiny.

Kokie Nail Polish ($6)

This 3-free formula is bold and vibrant, a really pretty marine blue that’s great for summer.

Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic Recovery Cream ($26) OMG you guys, that value calculation is for real. The full size is 50 mL for $60. This is a fantastic sample!

It’s also a nice thick probiotic infused anti-aging moisturizer. It’s advertised as: No Parabens No Sodium Lauryl Sulfate No Petrolatum/Mineral Oil/Paraffin No Glycols No Phthalates and the formula itself has moisture-rich ingredients like aloe and shea and cocoa butter.

Vasanti Cosmetics Power Oils Lip Gloss in Super Mom ($8.79)

I really like this gloss and this is a great color – and such a good size for a sample!

PUR Mini Fully Charged Magnetic Mascara ($11)

Here’s the description for this one:

this anti-aging mascara that has a “magnetic” polymer matrix that wraps a positively charged elastic veil around each lash to instantly lift, separate and define each lash for long-lasting performance.

Sounds hokey but I liked the effect and didn’t have clumps or smudges.

This was a WOW bag for me! I liked or loved everything in the bag and there were quite a few product discoveries for me to test out. At a retail value of $56, I wasn’t disappointed with almost 6x the cost, either!

I admit, this was my second ipsy bag this month. I thought I’d test out shipping time etc with new accounts. Last month I received the second bag nearly a week after the one on my primary account (but last month had that terrible DHL delay). This month it came a day earlier. Here’s the bag for my main account. Also loving it, plus it has the Cake Beauty lotion that I requested! I’m happy with both bags. I like the Trust Fund Beauty polish loads more than the blue one, but I’m also ultra-happy about that probiotic anti-aging cream! This bag had a value of about $41.

The Balm Blush in Balm Springs ($3.89)

Delectable by Cake Beauty Coconut & Cream Triple Moisture Body Lotion ($2.92)

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in “What’s A Budget” ($15)

Doucce Maxlash Volumizer Mascara (~$10)

Vasanti Cosmetics Power Oils Lip Gloss in Super Mom ($8.79)

What did you get in your Ipsy this month?

Thank you for the reviews! I got the Balm Springs blush and it is really pretty but leans too orange on me. I love the gloss!

Jealous of that anti-aging cream! I’m usually one of the few who LIKES The Balm, but this blush was a total miss for me.

The mascara (I got the Docce but the Pur looks/sounds neat!) is tough to work with. The brush/wand is sooo HUGE I keep sticking myself with it in and around my eye. It’s great other than that…ha.

I LOVE that blue nail polish. I ended up getting the orange one!

Hmm I should really look in my bag. I pulled it out of the envelope and glanced but didn’t analyze it yet.
