Nerd Block is a monthly mystery geek & pop culture subscription box. Every month includes a new shirt and Nerd Block boxes are typically filled with fun toys and figurines and other geek accessories. It really is a box for everyone who enjoys nerdy and pop culture things.

DEAL: Save 15% on your first month with coupon code HelloSub16. Enter this coupon after the green review order button. Choose a longer subscription instead of the code for better savings.

Every box contains the new Nerd Block Magazine.

This month’s theme is Dressed to Kill!  The magazine comes with feature stories — 5 best dressed villains of all time…

Star Trek’s 5 Deadliest Alien Races!

The centerfold gives you a list of all the items included, plus a brief description of them. Note that one of these items was replaced – see below!

Everything in the April box!

Earlier Nerd Block alerted subscribers to shipping issues with the April box because of a heavily damaged item.

They really made the right choice to replace the item before shipping! In its place:

Venom Pint Glass: I like the quality of this item a lot more! It doesn’t so much go with the theme (I don’t really think of him as a particularly dapper guy but I guess he technically has a suit!) but it’s definitely something subscribers would expect in their box. The Venom graphic is on both sides. This item is going to be a huge hit!

Sex Panther Cologne Bottle: WOW. This is right up there for me with my Hodor door stop and my LOTR washi tape.

This is just an amazing item. 60% of the time, it works every time! It’s empty, waiting for you to fill it with your actual cologne. Other replicas aren’t cheap ($25-40) so I’m really happy with this one!

Epic.

The Joker Art Print: I’m not a villains fan but I love this print! It’s just fantastic delicious! The lighting and design is perfect.

It was illustrated exclusively for Nerd Block by Kalman Andrasofszky and the RAID Studio.

The Joker Suspenders (~$9.95, from Buckle-Down): This is cool because it pulls an item right out of the character!

A nice tone on tone green argyle.

The Godfather Rose Pin: Yesss, just like Don Corleone! I don’t know if I’ve seen a Godfather pin before – nice inventive curation and I love the glossy skyline in relief.

You’ll want to keep your rose in the right orientation, just like the Don, so there’s two postbacks.

Dressed To Kill T-Shirt: This shirt shows everything that goes into the making of a top-notch 00 Agent!

We had SO much fun unboxing this box! Another winner for us and my husband would. not. stop. laughing at the cologne bottle. It’s amazing! I thought this was a fun theme that Nerd Block really pulled off. And as I mentioned, even though I’m firmly on the heroes side of everything I really liked the all the items in the box!

Next month’s box seems to continue to theme – Heroes for Hire!
