Vegan Cuts quarterly makeup box includes 4 or more FULL-SIZE vegan makeup products inspired by the season. The makeup box includes customisation – a survey is sent out a month prior to shipping allowing you to give first and second choices for shades.
We were sent four items with a special bonus!
BWC Full Volume Natural Mascara ($25.95) I love the big poofy brush on this and these brushes are great for adding volume.
Elate Lipgloss ($14) Elate is from Victoria, BC, Canada – just an hour away from me! This shade is Radiate and it’s a lovely pearl pink. It has a subtle peppermint scent and flavour which I appreciate – vegan companies steer away from synthetic fragrance/flavour which I’m still getting used to as I find the makeup taste rather unpleasant even if it’s natural! I also like the packaging – it’s made with sustainable bamboo for the lid. Very cool. I should note that Vegan Cuts lists the retail as $19, but that is in Canadian funds. I have converted it to USD for this review.
Mannakadar Radiant Split Pan Bronzer/Highlighter ($21) I have a stack of about six of these. Mannakadar has been heavily featured in a LOT of boxes the last year. The product is great but I definitely feel like it’s turned into a filler product with how frequently it appears.
HAN Skin Care Eyeshadow ($13) This is a new company for me. It uses plant pigments such as beetroot and rose to colour their products. Romance is a dark rose gold shade.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Eyelash Curler ($30) I don’t curl my lashes so this will be passed on to someone, but they look to be sturdy and include an extra silicone pad which is great.
This quarter’s box had a value of just over $100. It’s not my favourite box – the only thing I was really excited about was the lip gloss, and the rest will be gifted or shared with friends. I still think the value of this box is awesome – everything is full size and the bonus this month was a nice surprise.
