All the lipsticks this month! All of them, every month, are in these beautiful rose gold accented containers. The lipsticks themselves are paraben-free, gluten-free, non-comedogenic, and cruelty-free and vegan – and made in the USA.
Milan: This lippie is described as a deep, bold “sultry, matte, burnt red.” I think I’d probably call it a deep rose. It does have a yummy scent!
Paris: A pink-nude! This one has great rosy undertones. I’m not normally a huge fan of nude lipsticks (they look a bit odd on me), but this is so well pigmented and with enough pink that it turned out to be a great look, and I’m really thrilled with this shade.
Have I mentioned not to apply liquid lipstick using your cell phone unless you’re a pro at it? I still need to use a mirror! The formula applies easily and took long enough to set up that I was able to correct a brief excursion outside my liplines. I didn’t use any liner when testing these lipsticks.
Rome is a deep, brown-red color – almost chocolatey!
Lipsticks took a few minutes to completely dry, during which time I avoided pressing my lips together. I found if I pressed them together they did stick, but came apart easily.
Here’s all the swatches! Milan, Paris, Rome! They were all 3 really long lasting, through drinking, eating, and blabbing, about 4 hours or so for me. I also tried Milan with a coating of beeswax & shea butter lipbalm, and the color stayed put for longer than a regular lipstick, but not nearly as long as it would without a topper.
I thought this was a great start to this subscription, which is perfect for lip fanatics that want full-size high-quality lip products. The only drawback for me is that they don’t have a listing of the ingredients, which I’d like to see. I was happy to see that they state the lipsticks are “worldwide compliant,” which means the ingredients should also adhere to the higher EU standards for cosmetics ingredients. The colors themselves were super pretty and really wearable – and highly pigmented!

This shade is a deep wine color. I swatched it away from the other colors so it wouldn’t be confusing (but also included them so you can see what they look like after drying even more.
