BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full size samples every month. In the past the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain an amazingly high value.

TIP: BOXYCHARM is usually available through the end of the month. However their subscription is currently subject to a waitlist – I recommend signing up ASAP if you think you want the next box.

The April theme was “Creepy Cute!”  All the item info is on the back of the card.

Everything in my April BOXYCHARM!

OFRA Cosmetics Highlighter in Rodeo Drive ($35) This shimmery glowy highlighter was in all boxes this month. It’s brand new and I think the name is perfect!

It definitely provides a stunning golden glow and the color is buildable, so if you want insane goldness, it’s possible with this highlighter!

Cargo Cosmetic Lip Gloss ($16) This pinky beige super moisturizing gloss has only the hint of opacity to it.

It has a touch of shimmer and a yummy scent. It’s a teensy bit sticky but has great staying power.

Instead of this item some subscribers received Allegory Story Lip Gloss in Plato’s Cave ($15) or Kiss Proof Lip Creme By Bellapierre In Antique Pink ($20).

Here are the swatches!

Project Beauty Hairgurt Strawberry Banana Smoothing Yogurt Shampoo ($10) This super yummy smelling shampoo is sulfate- and paraben-free and uses prebiotics, quinoa, and super botanicals to nourish your scalp, plus keratin to help tame hair. I have never heard of using prebiotics on your scalp before – I think it may need multiple uses to see if that has any beneficial effect, but regardless, it just smells sooo good!

A few subscribers received Farmacy Brightening Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask set ($24)

This next item was subject to variations depending on whether you were a new or current subscriber.

PUR The Complexion Authority Blend Squad: 3-Piece Contour Blending Sponge Set ($36)

These latex-free and non-allergenic sponges can be used damp or dry (you can wet them and squeeze them out and that way they won’t absorb all your product if you’re using it to blend in a liquid!).

They have a chisel top and are washable, reusable and odor-free. Such a FABULOUS inclusion – I think this saved me what, $60 over new Beauty Blenders?

Measurable Difference The Diamond Collection 16 Color Pro Concealer Palette ($20)

This concealer palette features 16 different shades which you can mix to cover very nearly any skintone. I don’t think any box has ever attempted anything like this before, I think it’s great!

This is so great to cover your concealing needs over different seasons and for different spots on your face (hello Lemon Meringue, my new undereye concealer!). You can use it for contouring, too.

Above are all the shades on the left side of the palette.

And here’s all the shades on the right.

I found that these shades worked best if they were warmed up – maybe use a little plastic spatula and warm in your fingers before application. The information card also suggested mixing with a beauty oil.

My BOXYCHARM had about $117 in products! I just loved the box and will use everything and I especially liked the pairing of the glowy Rodeo Drive with a nude gloss – I think the curation is excellent for this month!
