Freddy Funklub is Funko.com’s membership club. Members receive access to special offers from the Funko Shop, plus all-exclusive giveaway opportunities! Each club member gets a unique member number (assigned in the order you sign-up), membership card, lanyard, Freddy Funko pin, and a brand new Freddy Funko Pop! vinyl figure.

The Freddy Funklub Kit costs $25 per box – one box per customer only. Plus shipping! I paid $31.95 total, and it came superfast.

This comes packed in an outer box – it’s a great gift to give to a Funko collector!

Also really good to know – Funko has just about weekly (automatic) contests/draws for Funklub members! You’ll be automatically entered to win when you’re a member!

Just like when you open one of the Funko official subscription boxes, a pin (and your member card) greet you when you open the box!

Everything in my Freddy Funklub Kit!

Freddy Funklub Membership Card – The site is very clear that you cannot reserve particular numbers or have your name on the card. I guess they used to do a printed certificate with your name on it! They also used to accept a $16 money order only 5 years ago – the cost of membership is getting steep!

I guess I’m member #221 for the year! (I think there are more than 221 members, keep reading!) How obsessed?

Well, these are just our kids’ collections (not 100% Funko):

We need some more girly figures!

Freddy Funklub Pin: This enamel pin features Freddy Funko, Funko’s mascot. Even though the box clearly said 2016 at checkout, I was really surprised to see 2016! Maybe they make 250?

It has 2 posts to keep it perfectly positioned.

Freddy Funklub Lanyard: And a lanyard! A great neutral geekery item!

I’m an official member!

Funko POP! Freddy Funko Vinyl Figure: So I just looked up this figure on the price guide, and he goes for $12 – with 1771 members reporting ownership. I’m going to go out on a limb and say there are either around 200 boxes left or the numbers are totally random.

He’s super cute – we love him already!

I like his sort of drab details like the belt through the loops!

This is a fun set to get or gift any Funko fanatic! I would say it’s worth it to be part of the membership draw (please, pick me!). You definitely don’t get as many items as in one of the Funko subscriptions so it’s a little pricey, but you are paying your membership fee to your fave corporate overlords, and there’s no yearly fee, so that’s awesome. The only thing I’m wondering is if you get to purchase a new box for the next year – they say one per person!

Are you enough of a Funko fanatic to join?
