Loot Gaming is a monthly subscription box from Loot Crate featuring collectibles, apparel, accessories and more from the biggest and best video game universes. Each box will have $60 in items, plus a booklet/mini-mag and pin.

Nothing to see here! The box turns into a Metal Gear Solid hiding spot!

The Loot Gaming box for February 2017 had a WILD theme.

This month’s poster is beautiful artwork without being a specific franchise. It’s giving me Legend of Zelda, though I don’t remember if Link has battled any bears.

This month’s Crate features items from Pitfall, MGSV, Legend of Zelda, and World of Warcraft.

The WILD pin is a compass. I think it’s a simple but effective design.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Plush D-Dog: The D-Dog plush we were sent is so cute! He’s one of the recruitable companions in Metal Gear Solid V. He lost his eye as a puppy and was found and adopted by Snake, the main character. D-Dog is wearing his eyepatch for this highly-detailed plush.

He’s got super fluffy fur and a clip to attach him to a backpack.

Warcraft Reversible Beanie

The World of Warcraft beanie is reversible — the lion represents the Alliance faction.

While on the inside/reverse is the symbol of the Horde faction.

Pitfall Canteen:  Pitfall! is a game for the Atari from the 1980s.

The canteen features the box artwork of the main character, Harry, swinging through the jungle to avoid traps and enemies.

It’s sturdy and includes a strap to carry it on your shoulder. This was a fun item with loads of retro flair.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Shirt: This sketch of Link is amazing! I think old and new gamers alike all loved this shirt. The quality, as is usual with Loot Gaming, was great, with a soft well-fitting shirt.

This month’s Loot Gaming had lots of stand-out franchises and we liked all the items, but I think the Zelda shirt was the clear favorite! I also particularly loved the artwork on the Pitfall! canteen. The only thing disappointing about this box was that it arrived in mid-March.

What do you think of Loot Gaming this month?
