Everything I need to make my very own homemade soap!
Silicone soap molds. Could also be used for individual brownies or other desserts. I love silicone molds, they are easy to use and so easy to clean.
A block of white soap.
100% Pure Activated Charcoal. Be very careful this is very hard to clean up and it stains, found both of these things the hard way.
Bright wrapping paper and stickers.
Orange Essential Oil.
Four sponge pieces.
Cut into smaller pieces to help make melting it easier. Please keep in mind the handle of the measuring cup might get hot while the water is boiling.

It took a little bit of elbow grease to get the charcoal mixed in and looking like the video I had to watch several times to get the exact method.

This project was very easy, kind of fun and a 100 percent useful. I will say that melting the soap was the longest part of the process and the cut up soap chunks resemble large marshmallows. I’m a bit worried that there isn’t enough essential oil in my soap for the scent to come out but I figure a little goes a long way. I love the idea of being able to exfoliate my hands and body while getting clean for a time saving process. Natural sponges are some of my favorite exfoliating helpers and I can’t wait to try out my new soap!
