Every month, Bookcase.Club includes activities for children in their Read to Me Case. My son can’t get enough of them! They’re the first thing my son asks for as soon as he opens his box every month.

The package contained four picture books: “Chick ‘n’ Pug” by Jennifer Sattler, “The Adventurers” by Rachel Elliot, “Sharks Keep Losing Their Teeth (I Didn’t Know That)” by Claire Llewellyn, and “The Secret of Spider Motel” by Mel Gilden.

“Chick ‘n’ Pug” ($6) by Jennifer Sattler is a story about a chick and a pug who lead very different lives. Chick is the adventurous one, while Pug loves sleeping. My kids love reading stories with animals in it, and they thought this one was cute and funny.

In “The Adventurers” by Rachel Elliot ($3), a little girl goes on an adventure with her toys named Velvet Cat, Russian Doll, Pirate, and Rocking Horse. The illustrations are wonderful and kept the kids engaged in the story as we moved from page to page.

We loved reading Sharks Keep Losing Their Teeth (I Didn’t Know That)” by Claire Llewellyn ($14.99) together! In this book, information about the diet, anatomy, habits, and reproduction of sharks were presented in a fun way for kids. The illustrations were realistic and the true-or-false questions added even more fun to the experience.

“The Secret of Spider Motel” by Mel Gilden ($3) is a story about a guy named Buzz who tries to figure out the secret of a weird roadside hotel with his little brother. My kids loved it, as well as the included spider toy!

This month’s Read to Me Case from BookCase.Club was a total win! All four of these books brought smiles to my kids’ faces and I couldn’t be any happier. We can’t wait to see what they send next month!
