Just the Threads is a monthly subscription box that brings you all the threads you’ll need for your next stitching project. Whether you’re an embroiderer, needlepointer, cross-stitcher, crazy quilter, or just a thread lover, you’ll find something you’ll love in each Just the Threads box.

The subscription costs $22.99 per month and is part of the  of subscriptions!

The theme this January is Purples & Greens! All the themes for 2017 are complementary colors.

FYI, Just the Threads now has a supply shop, just like StitchyBox! Be quick when you open your package and use your subscriber coupon for a discount. You already know that you’ll want to get in on the matching dyelots for the overdyed, and sometimes the threads are dyed exclusively for StitchyBox and won’t be available after they’re sold out.

Each month on the 16th you’ll find a new selection of threads, beads and embellishments taken from assortment used to craft our JTT subscribers’ personalized monthly shipments. These goodies will only be available from us for one month (through the 15th of the following month). Just the Threads subscribers will receive a discount code in their monthly packages for 10% off anything in the JTT supply shop.

Here’s most of the items that are sent out to subscribers, but you will personalize your subscription when you sign up. You can see more complete info about the quiz in my first Just The Threads review!

Everything in my January 2017 bag!

Glissen Gloss Colorwash Violet Garden Hand Painted Japanese Silk ($4.50) The colors on this silk are delectable. I’m going to use it to stitch motifs that will look good in highly variegated threads, or some words, I haven’t decided yet.

Weeks Dye Works Mulberry Cotton Floss ($2.40)

Weeks Dye Works Sea Foam Cotton Floss ($2.40)

Both of these are gorgeous, and I’m dying over the mulberry. It’s so dark and still so purple, but a nicely muted yet bold purple. I might hang this one up just to look at it.

Waterlilies by Caron Mint Silk Floss ($5.99)

Waterlilies by Caron Havana Silk Floss ($5.99)

I love stitching with Waterlilies! It’s so delectable. These are quite different. One is a minty spring green and it’s going to make a perfect grass. The other is another bright and fun highly variegated thread. I think this one would be great for a border/frame!

As always, a nice haul, especially for someone without a local needlework store. I really like seeing different examples from the same line of thread, it gives me a sense of the depth and breadth of the offerings!
