Cookie Luv brings love and joy to any college or boarding school student through a monthly delivery of gourmet cookies. This is a really fun subscription that will send one kind of homemade cookies to your college student each month. We got a sampler box to review last time but this month we got the regular monthly box with just one type of cookie inside.

All of the cookies come in their own little baggie and then are nestled into the box with fun red squiggles. It is a very Valentine’s themed box with all the appropriate colors. On the bottom of the box, type of cookie you’re getting is indicated. The number of cookies can vary depending on what cookie it is but this month we got a dozen if the Linzer Tarts.
The February cookie is the Linzer Tart which is raspberry jam sandwiched between two blissful, crumbly almondy cookies. These are perfect for Valentine’s and the red heart is so good. The baggies are really needed so that you don’t get jam all over everything. The cookies were crumbly goodness and we are enjoying them very much. We’ve gone through about half the box so far and the rest I’m keeping for a party we are having in a couple days.
Cookie Luv is a great subscription for any kid not living at home. It’s like getting a home cooked goodness each month with a big kick of sugar. While I’m not a kid away at school, I’m not a huge baker so I love getting these in the mail each month too. There are more cookie than I will be making since I’m a slice-n-bake kindof person which I’m thinking most college kids are, if they bake at all. This will be a great addition to their pizza diet and give them a sense of home and love from afar.
