Mine Chest is the one and only monthly subscription box for Minecraft fans! It is officially licensed by Mojang, and now operated by Loot Crate! This box shown here costs $29.99 per month + shipping ($7 US, $15 Canada, $20 everywhere else).

However, it’s now a $39.99 bimonthly box, shipping included. We expect the box to improve in variety with Loot Crate behind it!

You’ll get a box full of Minecraft inspired goodies and official merchandise. Boxes come with a t-shirt (with a full range of youth and adult sizes available) and are packed in a collectible and reusable box.

The theme of the December box was HOME SWEET HOME! While there’s usually a lenticular postcard, this month had a cute holiday card to send!

There’s no place like home for the holidays especially when there are Creepers roaming round… You can build a million things in a million ways but, for shelter, you can’t beat home, sweet home! – Happy Holidays!

Mine Chest Potion of Healing Exclusive Pin: From the spoilers we thought this was a potion of Harming, but silly us, it’s obviously a potion of healing! The perfect addition to the kids’ Minecraft pin collection!

Mine Chest Exclusive Block Sticker: These are a real hit with our 6 year old. I don’t know if I noticed it last time around, but there are instructions on the back!

In a few days time we will find this recreated somewhere in our home, and it will be adorable.

Mine Chest Exclusive Ugly Sweater Minecraft T-Shirt: Couldn’t be more excited about this one! It’s got potions, it’s got snow, pickaxes, crafting tables, roast chicken, and we think steak. Lots of fun stuff. Thrilled to get a long-sleeved shirt for this weather.

Minecraft Stamp – Empty Book: We’re not 100% crazy about the monthly stamp, and I’m not sure if it’s coming in the next Chest, we’ll see!

This one made the mark of an empty book.

Cookie Cutters: Snow Golem & Potion!

As you can see, the cookie cutters were really well received, and a great fun item to use around the holidays. I thoroughly enjoyed crafting these with my kids!

Our snow golems were pretty awesome!

This is my potion! I think it’s a potion of swiftness. Or of sugary, sparkly goodness!

Minecraft Action Figure – We got the Crawling Spider, although some subscribers received Arrow Firing Skeleton or Alex with Flaming Arrow!

I forgot to take a picture of the spider eye, but it did come with.

This is a wildly successful item! Minechest has been bringing it!

It’s got a pull-back action (you can kinda see the spider eye in there too) and really scurries!

It’s really super-duper hard to top last month’s box, which was our favorite, but I think this is our second favorite box so far! We loved the cookie cutters, action figure, and ugly sweater! Our crafters can’t wait to see what’s coming in the next box – we thought this box was the closest yet to encouraging real world creativity with a fun, craftable item. The only thing better would have been an entire cookie kit!

Great box!!! I love that they sent a long sleeve shirt. I would love to see that follow through with some of the adult boxes but with the range or locations I’m guessing that won’t happen. I was able to pick Caleb up a bunch of Minecraft figures and stuff on clearance at Target last week for his birthday in Feb. They had some marked down 70% so I got a bunch that didn’t cost much so win win.
