Luxor Box is a luxurious bi-monthly women’s lifestyle subscription box full of high-end products and treasures: home, body, bath, accessories, jewelry, and more! The Luxor Box comes with 5-9 full-size and high-end products worth more than $250 in value. There’s also a petite version of this box that comes with 2-4 items.
Here are the items in the Luxor January box! Easy gifting is at hand when ordering the Luxor Box. Everything comes in its original packaging whether in the full or petite size boxes. The original packaging pictures are further down in the review.
The January Spoiler was the Halcyon Day Rose + Gold Bangles ($195.00) in black, cream, red, or orange.
I found it odd that the label was taped to the box. It doesn’t scream $195.00 to me. Maybe it was something Luxor did to keep track of the bracelets???
The box and presentation did not disappoint. The bracelet came in a Halycon Days velvet bag inside a Halycon Days box.
I received the cream bracelet which is the only one not listed on the website. The abstract rose pattern gives it a bit of glamor. The pattern and mount is set on 18 carat gold and has an enamel base.
Halcyon Days is written in raised letters on the inside band. It looks much better in person than in my photo.
The bracelet is hinged which can be seen on the bottom right-hand side. It’s a cheerful bracelet that is a reminder that spring is on its way.
What could be in this well-protected package?
The Chando Youth Floral Intimacy Diffuser – Blue ($69.00 on card, $89.99 on website) is the most beautifully packaged car diffuser that I have ever seen. It was released as a spoiler for both the Petite and Regular Boxes.
The direction booklet labels it as a car refreshener. It’s much too pretty for my car and will be used in my house.
I received Coastal Mist which has an amazingly clean, rain scent. I have a stuffy nose and will let Chando explain the scent.
Top：Sparkling Greens, Fruitskin, Marine Water
Heart： Transparent Cyclamen, Blue Lavender, Bamboo Water
Base： Beachwood, Teak, Seamoss
I like this scent much better than the one I received in the Luxor Petite Box. You’ll have to read the review to find out what other scent I received.
I am glad that I read the directions because I was going to try to move the delicate porcelain butterfly to fill the diffuser.
Add about 20 drops to the diffuser and refresh 3-4 drops as needed.
It’s a beautiful, delicate, porcelain diffuser that I am going to keep in the master bedroom. It does have a gripper pad on the bottom for use in the car.
My husband was excited to see The North Detail Hand Towel Set ($14.00 ea, $28.00 total) because we wash dishes by hand. We also use them to clean up spills and messes.
The made and design in the USA cotton towels are huge! They measure 28″ x 29″. It has a great spring feel to it.
The Friendship Glass (Hearts) by Ulrica Hydman-Vallien ($20.00 ea, $40.00 total) came in adorable packaging.
My family thought the design was either tomatoes or strawberries on the beer glasses. We will be using them as romantic drinking glasses because we don’t drink.
The Orrefors City Ice Cubs, Set of Four ($30.00) does not match the curation. Maybe wine charms or colored ice cubes would match the box better.
The reusable stainless steel ice cubes are packaged in a velvet box with a reusable velvet pouch.
Place the ice cubes in the freezer for two hours. They will keep your drinks cold for up to one hour.
I did not freeze them which is why they may be at the bottom. I think they are ugly and clash with the rest of the box. I am sure others will find them to be useful.
The above photo is from the Luxor Box January 2016 Review with the white blanket being used as a background. It is my favorite Luxor Box and I desire that Luxor would go back to this type of curation. I miss receiving bath products even though it is part of the box description. I do not want to receive products that remind me of Bespoke Posts Boxes.
I ordered the January Luxor Box because I liked the spoilers. I do feel it has more of a spring feel to it and may have been better served as a March box. The January box will be my last regular sized box unless a future spoiler is something that catches my eye. It’s too expensive for me to like half the box. Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind!! Despite my personal feelings…
Luxor came through on the retail value at $362.00. They listened to subscribers and included a Halycon bracelet which was the main spoiler. In fact, I feel they are the most responsive box when it comes to featuring brands that subscribers desire included my beloved Rose et Marius. The box always ships on time. Everything is packaged exquisitely and is giftable. It’s an excellent way to enjoy luxurious brands.
