Lootaku is a monthly geek subscription box from Hong Kong packed with high-quality geek and gamer items. The subscription costs $49.00 per month + shipping (currently about $17 to the US), and you’ll get 4-6 themed products, like plushies, action figures, memorabilia, etc., to satisfy your geeky cravings monthly – no fillers or promo items!

I like how the outside of the box is beautifully designed. A Chest – Full of Loot!

This month was full of Dragon Ball Z loots!

DEAL: If you’re looking to try it out, save 5% on your subscription – even longer lengths! Just use this link to get the deal.

The item information card, or “Loot Table,” is thick and glossy, with lots of detail. When there are variations, it typically lists each possible variation you might receive!

Lootaku recently reduced their prices and shipping.

All the goodies inside my December Lootaku Box! Everything was themed on the Dragon Ball Z franchise. It’s great to see such a variety of figures within the theme.

Dragon Ball Super World Collectible Figures 30th Anniversary Volume 2 & 3 ($15)

You can see the stickers of authentication on the top of the box.

There are 12 different Dragon Ball characters in these volumes and subscribers will get one random figure each.

We got Majin Buu (Kid Buu)!

There’s a clear tube attached to the back of the figurine to secure it in place and keep him in that forward-moving position!

Dragon Ball Z Dramatic Showcase 5th Season Volume 1 ($40)

DragonBall Z Dramatic Showcase features memorable scenes from the anime series.

For this box, we get a Goku donning white wings and a halo! If you’re familiar with the series, this is shown in the closing credits of the Buu Saga. Goku is actually waving to his son Gohan before heading to another planet.

Dragon Ball Goku 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive ($5) – A cool flash drive to show that you’re the ultimate Dragon Ball fan! Its material is not the best quality, but I’ve never seen a Dragon Ball flash drive, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this item!

Dragon Ball 4 Star Large Replica ($13) – OMG, it’s a Dragon Ball! Ok, it’s a replica. But this acrylic ball is still the closest thing we’ll ever get to those shiny magical orbs.

We’re not sure what it says!

Stars are really inside the ball, not painted or stuck outside – just like how it’s supposed to look like.

Dragon Ball Z Resolution of Soldiers Vol. 3 ($35)

Resolution of Soldiers feature characters in their battle gear/poses.

In addition to all the marks of authenticity, this was clearly prepared for export. It’s a new Banpresto release as of November 2016.

We got Mr. Satan, some subscribers received a lucky upgrade.

The detail on this sculpture is amazing! That fierce look clearly means he’s ready to fight!

This Dragon Ball celebration box came pretty late, but the quality and variety of all the items were fantastic. Lootaku recently announced a small price drop for shipping their boxes and communicated to subscribers multiple times that the Dragon Ball boxes would be late. The themes really go back and forth with this box, but they do announce them in advance. If you’re into anime and fantasy, this is a great box!
