Julep Beauty Box is Julep‘s monthly subscription box – from nail polish to makeup to skincare, they cover everything but mostly focus on nails. It’s completely customizable – you can choose a pre-curated box or pick and choose what you like. You can skip your box or send it to a friend, as well! Brandy sent January’s box to me, and the process is really easy. There’s always a plethora of coupons as well, which is great.

My selections for January:

Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil. I was SO excited to try this. It’s a lightweight but hydrating combo of rosehip oil, bergamot oil, and Vitamin E. I have used this on my chin which is currently recovering from cystic acne and is very dry. The redness in my skin has faded quite a bit and my skin is less dry. It smells citrusy from the bergamot.

My polish selections, from left to right:

Yulia (Boho Glam) This shimmer polish has a purple/violet flash when viewed in certain angles.

Evan (Classic With A Twist) A gorgeous plum creme.

Addon: Marta (It Girl) This is a violet with shimmer. I picked a few of these shimmers to wear alone or layered with the creme polishes from the collection.

Addon: Gabby (Bombshell) This is a “ghost shimmer” – at first glance it looks creme, but it has a very very faint sheen to it.

Addon: Belle (Bombshell) This shimmery plum has an orange/gold sort of flash to it.

Free Gift: Omelia (Wonder Maven) I’m so excited to try this – this is a textured polish with violet sparkles.

January’s box was really fun to put together. I am obsessed with the facial oil and love the colours I chose. If you’re a nail polish junkie or a fan of makeup in general, Julep would be a good fit. The fact that the subscription is so customizable and skippable means you can build your own perfect box every month.
