The product information sheet had lots of good information. After each item is listed, it gives you the retail price, the country of origin, a blurb about the item and the ingredients of the item.

The first delicious item that we pulled from the box was this Firklover Chocolate Bar with crushed roasted hazelnuts by Freia. Oh my goodness!!! This bar of chocolate was so good!!! The chocolate itself is creamy and smooth and the hazelnuts are crushed to the perfect size to provide an even crunch to each bite. It is no wonder that Fria (a Norwegian company) knows how to do milk chocolate right, they were one of the first companies to produce it in the 19th century. Plus, it is stamped with a castle!!!

The next item in the box was this Bruschettini Toasts with Rosemary & Olive Oil by Asturi. They are baked in Italy using only fresh ingredients, artisan recipes and no preservatives or artificial flavors. These tiny little quarter-sized toasts are baked to a crunchy perfection that is perfect for dipping or topping. I used them to scoop up a dip I made with the next item in the box and it was oh so delicious! The rosemary flavor was present but light enough to not be overpowering.

I love it when a snack plan comes together!!! And I love a good dip. Who doesn’t? This Garlic Herb Seasoning from the Shore Seasonings collection by the Blue Crab Bay Co. of the USA ($2.99) was up next in our Yummy Bazaar World Sampler box.

“A convenient and delicious blend of herbs and garlic to mix with butter or olive oil and drizzle over bread.  Also popular as a seasoning for corn on the cob, baked potatoes, potato salad or as an all-purpose seasoning.”

I mixed this seasoning up with a cup of plain greek yogurt and a couple tablespoons of peppercorn mayonnaise and the result was dip perfection. The flavor was perfect.

A dollop of the Blue Crab Bay Co. Garlic Herb Seasoning dip on the Asturi Brushettini. This was excellence. Meaning the very best that it could be. I really don’t see how this snack could get any better.  I may have growled at my husband when he reached for one. Once I came to my senses, I ended up sharing, but it was begrudgingly.

If you need a good dip combo to take to a holiday party, this is the way to go!!!

The next bit of deliciousness were these Torroncini candies from Sperlari ($4.95). These are a traditional Italian Christmas nougat candy made from egg whites, almonds, and honey. There were two of them in the box. The candy was a chewy sweet nougat with several whole almonds in the center. Sperlari has been making candy for nearly 200 years, and it shows. I love candy with nuts in it. The crunch in the midst of the sweetness is very satisfying.

This Dark Chocolate Coconut candies from Next by Nature was in the box. These have no gluten, no additives, and no preservative and are made with organic coconut and dark chocolate. These are thick coconut shaved sticks covered in rich dark chocolate. Again, I am loving that all of these candies include a crunch to them! With these, the inside stick of coconut is thick enough to be crispy and the sweetness of the dark chocolate coating is the perfect compliment.  The whole bag was only 123 calories and provided for several episodes of snacking awesomeness.

These two bags of Valee du Nil Green Tea from Nunshen were the last snacks in our box. Nunshen is a French-Swiss company that has been making high-quality teas for over 10 years. This offering from them is a very floral tea that contains jasmine, rose petals, bergamot orange oil and Chinese green tea. I poured this up and added a little citrus blossom honey for an afternoon spot of tea. The aroma was strongly floral with notes akin to lavender. The tea was light and clear with the same floral notes in the flavor with an added complexity of a fruity orange flavor. It was delicious. Plus, the tea bags were made of cheese cloth like fabric instead of the normal paper, which made for a nice touch.
