Yogi Surprise Jewelry Box December 2016 Subscription Review

Yogi Surprise, in addition to its regular monthly lifestyle box, has a jewelry+treat only subscription box. Every month you’ll get 2 handmade yoga-inspired jewelry piece and 1 superfood or organic chocolate treat. Yogi Surprise Jewelry is fairtrade, sustainably harvested, nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free, made in Bali, Indonesia, and 10% of all proceeds are given to further education for the Balinese families who hand-make the jewelry pieces.

This month’s theme is The Joy of Giving and the jewelry pieces were made to help us to open up our heart and our mind to higher consciousnes while offering us support to get through this stressful time so we can enjoy and desire the act of giving.

At the back of the card, there’s a list of the items, as well as this month’s yoga sequence. I’m still working on some of the pose, but it’s a nice reminder to take our time and to fully appreciate the moment. I love these sequences!

Pointed Clear Quartz Pendant necklace (85$). This is a gorgeous crystal, attached to a key ring. I found that key ring odd at first, but it works! It’s on a very long chain, so I might switch it up for something shorter. It’s nice to have a piece of jewelry you can adapt to your own preference. You could also use it as a key chain charm or attach it on your purse (which I am very tempted to do as my purse is the thing I never leave the house without). Clear quartz is THE crystal to have in your collectin. It resonates with every chakra, bringing them clarity, helping them heal. It’s also powerful for meditation, something you need when everything is chaotic around you!

Jasper and Clear Quartz Protection Bracelet. Jasper is a grounding stone, very earthy. It connects you back to your roots, prevents you to go to far ahead of yourself. Mixed with the balancing quartz, it gives you a solid base to meditate and not let the world get to you!

Rickaroons Mint to Be. Described as your grandma’s chocolate cookie, without the pound of butter. It’s made with coconut, almond butter and chocolate with mint.

Next month’s necklace is a Crown Chakra Amethyst Necklace! Can’t wait to see it!

This was a great and fun box for the Holiday Season. Grounding but with room to celebrate, to meditate and to be open to new experiences! I really like that the necklace is versatile so I can wear it as a necklace or attach it to my purse or backpack for that extra protection on-the-go!
