I’m so excited to be able to review the Miss Blanco Joyful Box! I had been waiting for this box to launch for a few months since seeing some teasers on Instagram. It’s a new Canadian lifestyle box that curates beauty, handmade, and other items to bring you a little joy each month! Though Canadian in origins, this box ships internationally as well!

The information card includes suggested retail prices in CAD – I’ll do a total value in USD at the very end once I total everything up!

The box smelled so good when I opened it, and here’s why! We were sent two Barefoot Venus products, both in the Lilly Pilly scent. Barefoot Venus is a Canadian company and I swear by their mustard bath for when I have a cold. Subscribers were sent either the Bath Treat ($5.50 CAD) or the Bath Bliss (same price – it’s a solid mango butter bath melt) and I’m pleased I got the milk bath treat as I haven’t tried it before! I was also sent a small purse size version of the Argan Dry Body Oil ($2.50 CAD) which I have tried before, and love.

We don’t see a lot of e.l.f. here in Canada. I was surprised by the quality of the Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil ($1.50 CAD) – it’s creamy and doesn’t tug at my eyelid, but it’s definitely not meant to be waterproof. It looks nice smudged out and has a very subtle black sparkle to it. I like the sharpener right on the cap.

Sweet LeiLani Cosmetics is actually a company from right here in Langley, BC! This Mineral Jewels Eyeshadow in Mai Tai ($14.99) is huge – 2.5 grams – and I love the packaging. All of Sweet LeiLani’s products are vegan, paraben free, gluten free, fragrance-free, and gluten free – I’m excited to see a new natural brand and hope maybe they will get more exposure in other natural beauty boxes!

Also included in the box were two items by Cherish’s All Natural Products. The Cherry Sweet Lips Lipbalm ($6.00) is similar to cherry chapstick in flavor, but has a much more moisturizing feel to it (not as waxy as chapstick). And the Body Oil ($10.00) smells like bubblegum – maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s full of coconut and grapeseed oil to keep skin moisturized. This is a Canadian company from Ontario.

The handmade item featured in this box is a beaten metal heart necklace ($20.99) on a light blue faux suede cord. It is adjustable and could be worn as a choker or longer. I think it’s very pretty!

And the hero item of the box is a beautiful winter scarf ($32.99)! Yes, it’s similar to the one I got in White Willow Box, but I like this one more for a couple reasons – it’s a thinner material so it’s not too warm, it’s rectangle so it’s easier to style, and the darker colors are a bit more my style. It’s 100% polyester.

Miss Blanco’s November box was a great mix of items – I am thrilled with how many beauty items were included, especially from Canadian brands. The scarf is gorgeous and perfect for the season. This box is definitely one to keep an eye on, especially if you are a fan of lifestyle boxes! The value on this box was over $90 CAD, which is around $65 USD.
