The theme is BATTLE FOR EARTH.
The box came with a top secret file.
The data drop is loaded with all the intel you need to understand and complete the mission!
There’s sat imagery of a Covenant incursion…
Eyes only analysis of the assault…
And a download on some must-know info!
All the goodies in the box! Everything in this box is exclusive!
The info sheet is actually on this really awesome and large poster, which was delivered in a cardboard tube.
Oh hai, 1-year subscription bonus pin. You’re totally gnarly and I didn’t expect you. Thanks!
The back of the poster shows the list of all the items included in the crate and details on the theme.
There’s also an invite to pre-order the upcoming Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition coming out next year!
TIP: While you can pre-order at Game Stop and Microsoft, Amazon Prime members save 20% off pre-order releases during the Holiday season!
Battle For Earth Pin: Betcha can’t stick it! I was awarded this pin for nailing a plasma grenade on a stealth elite!
Today, when reading about Amelia Earhart, I also realized that it looks like the Smithsonian logo, sort of.
Halo Morale Patches: I literally squealed when I saw these! I think everything in this box is rad, but I keep on getting utility bags, and patches, but not patches with velcro made to put on the bags.
My husband squirreled away the bag from the first box somewhere but I can pretty much guarantee you I’m stealing it back so I can patch it. No really, this is what I wrote last month: I think a patch would be a great follow up – especially if it’s velcroed to go on the bag. YAASSSS!
ODST T-Shirt: This shirt is the same quality as the ones in Loot Gaming, which is great news because they are the best of the Loot Crate bunch! I love the orbital drop but Feet First Into Hell makes it… a little less suitable for work and school. Or um, to wear around kids? I love the shirt but it won’t work for 100% of occasions, just like any other geek shirt.
Halo Icons ODST Buck!
This month is Buck and it doesn’t get better than that!
Should Nathan Fillion be in all exclusive figure sets? The answer is YES! I think the proportions on these statues are amusing but great. His gear says Buck, right underneath his collar.
There’s so much detail, and you wouldn’t imagine they are reconfigurable, but they are.
Look at the tiny seat!
I definitely need to work on which pieces go where. The base pieces don’t click together, they just snug in together.
And as you can tell, they go both ways!
I didn’t try putting these together in an S. Might it form a giant ring? Like… a HALO?! We’ll have to see!
ODST Hellpants: Ah, I love these comfy loungepants but I’m going to need to chop them off – they are so very long! This totally matches the shirt and makes for the perfect game-day outfit.
They have a button fly, for those persons who might need one. Please don’t use it while playing.
Pockets!
Req Pack code on the back for Halo 5: Guardians!
I have to say, this is one of the most well-thought out subscriptions that Loot Crate offers. Once again – awesome wearable, great design, the totally cool Halo ICONS figure, and patches for my bag?! Not to mention the best in-universe intel out of any of the subscriptions and tons of free subscriber content (see details in our initial review). This subscription is a real winner if you spend any time at all in the Halo Universe!
