Single Cup Club is a subscription coffee service that allows you to experience the world of small batch roast coffees with the convenience of K-Cups.
Every month you receive 15 K-cups in three unique blends. Each month you will get a new and different variety of coffees to experience. If you subscribe month to month, the cost is $12.99 a month, but if you pay for one year at a time the price drops significantly to $8.99 per month. Shipping is a flat rate of $3.95.
The K-cups came nicely packaged in this cardboard box with holes cut out for the cups. I think it would be perfect to reuse to package mini cupcakes for a gift!!! Reuse and recycle. (The used K-cups are perfect for starting seeds in for your garden and you can add coffee grounds to compost too!)
On the under side of the box lid there is a detailed description of each coffee variety.
The first coffee pod that we tried was the Steep & Brew Breakfast Blend. It is 100% Arabica coffee.

Steep & Brew was founded by Mark Ballering in Madison, WI in 1979 as a place for friends to gather and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Soon after he founded Steep & Brew he found an antique Italian roaster and began roasting his own coffees. Still owned by Mark Ballering (that’s cool), Steep & Brew has expanded but still remains committed to community and quality.
And, they make a very good cup of coffee.
The second coffee in the box was this 100% Costa Rican from Coffee Icon. “Costa Rica is regarded as the world’s premiere coffee farm region due to the volcanic soil and ideal mountain drainage. Roasted light for a smooth, sweet and fruity aroma.”
This is a lighter roast making it perfect for that second cup that begins calling my name about 2:00 in the afternoon. It was refreshingly smooth and had a sweet fruity taste reminiscent of pears.
The third coffee was a Chocolate Caramel Truffle by Door County Coffee & Tea Co. Swoon. They had me at Chocolate, but then they added Caramel and Truffle and I am in love! “Enjoy the aromas and flavors of our Chocolate Caramel Truffle coffee as you sip on the taste of dark chocolate and sweet caramel. Truly a dessert in a cup!”
Obviously the Chocolate Caramel Truffle was my favorite, because #1 Chocolate, #2 Truffle and #3 Caramel. How can you go wrong with that combo? I may have threw in a little hazelnut creamer, just to put it over the top… Mmmm, good!
Single Cup Club is the best of both worlds as they say! Convenience without sacrificing quality. The coffees are freshly roasted and high quality. I loved the Chocolate Caramel Truffle from Door Country, and have been very pleased with all the coffees from Single Cup Club. They know a good cup of coffee when they see one!
