LOVE IS LEARNING

We never stop learning, no matter how old we are – whether it’s learning a new language, learning more about another culture, or just learning a new skill. But let’s face it, learning can be a hungry business! This month’s box is packed full of snacks that are perfect for enjoying while broadening your horizons. So go ahead – share your knowledge and share your snacks!

Go to https://lovewithfood.com/snacks/2016/09 to find out more information about the products in your box. Share your taste feedback and earn 50 points for every review!

Love with Food has eliminated their information booklet. One of the highlights of the booklet was that it contained a color-coded legend identifying which items are gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, organic, and dairy-free. You can click here to get all the information on products in this month’s box.

The September Tasting Box!!!

20160928_184137

Organic Fruit Candies by GoOrganic:  After receiving these in another subscription I bought more because they were that good. The nice surprise is that I received the mango and strawberry flavors which I hadn’t tried yet. Like the others, these hard candies were full of real fruit flavor and made with organic ingredients.

Strawberry & Rasberry Bar by Orchard Bar:  This literally is a bite size portion – don’t let the packaging fool you. I was a little leery to try this because I have a love-hate relationship with raspberry. However, I’m glad that I chanced it. The raspberry is subtle, with more of the strawberry coming through, and the walnut added a nice crunch to the bite.

Sandwich Crackers by Lance:  Lance sandwich crackers have been around for as long as I can remember. They’ve updated the classic PB crackers by making them bite-sized and gluten free. These are coming to work with me to satisfy my 3 ‘o clock hunger.

Cocoa & Milk Classic Wafers by Loacker:  I completely tore into this as soon as I saw it. I don’t know how to describe the flavor except as creamy, chocolatey goodness. The wafer cookies are very thin but full of cocoa flavor, and melt in your mouth.

Bunches of Crunches Dark Chocolate Sea Salt with Chia by Bakery on Main:  I’m not much of a granola eater, but this will be a nice addition to a cup of vanilla yogurt.  The dark chocolate and sea salt are calling my name. Plus, the chia seeds will make me feel even healthier.

Caramel Apple Crisp Premium Puffed Corn by Cosmos Creations:  These remind me of summer fairs. The puffed corn is mixed with real apple chunks and sweet caramel.  Totally going into my snack box at work if I can hold out that long.

Popcorn by Vermont Smoke & Cure:  I’m sure like me, you were shocked that anyone could mistake this for popcorn.  Yes, it’s a beef stick. This was about 3 bites worth. The BBQ flavor wasn’t extreme; just a bit of spice and hint of sweetness.  I prefer a slightly drier beef stick, but this was nice.

gummy-detail

Organic Gummy Cherries by Black Forest Organic:  I love Black Forest gummies. They’re full of flavor and really soft.  This bag did not last long with two 14 year olds in the house. The girls tore through these at lightning speed; I was lucky to get a few myself. I had to show you the detail on the gummy – they’re so cute.

As always, there’s some coupons in the box – one for Orchard Bar and one for Foodstirs. Check the Foodstirs directory profile page for more information and a free trial deal.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel that Love With Food is getting better at finding snacks to suit my tastes.  This box was a tad sweets heavy, and I’d like to see a few more salty/savory snack options. The Loacker wafers were my favorite item (as if you couldn’t tell ☺️).  What did you enjoy most from your box? Share with a comment below, and happy noshing.
