Fresh Fiction Box Not To Miss is a monthly book subscription that sends 5-7 books for $25.95. Shipping is free in the U.S. but they also ship worldwide. You can choose from a 1, 3, or 12-month plan and all plans auto renew. Alternatively, you can also buy a one-time box from their online shop. They send 2-3 new release print books, codes for 2-3 downloadable ebooks, a collectible item, and a sweet treat! Most of the books will be from the romance genre but they may occasionally send mystery, erotica, YA, and paranormal books too.

On top, there was a collectible postcard featuring the Fresh Fiction foxy mascot, Vixen. I am happy to see that FFBNTM is getting into the upcoming holiday spirit!

The books were snuggled under their shredded paper nest.

Everything in the box – I received 4 paperbacks, codes for 3 ebooks, a collectible pin and postcard, and some Halloween gummy candies. One thing to keep in mind is that boxes may vary. They usually have a list of books sent on their website but it wasn’t updated when I wrote the post.

This is the flip side of the postcard.

Fresh Fiction sends a sweet treat and collectible keepsake in each box. I received a pin featuring Vixen (shown in the picture below), and some Gummy Body Parts, which my teenager claimed.

First up are 3 downloadable ebooks on Kindle:

Calamity Jayne and the Haunted Homecoming by Kathleen Bacus ($41.99)

Blow: A Virtuous Paradox Novel by Heidi McLaughlin ($3.99)

Make Me Stay by Rebecca Brooks ($2.99)

These books have high ratings on Goodreads and Amazon; one is a little older but two are not even released yet!

Now, on to the paperbacks!

When Love Arrives by Johnnie Alexander ($14.99) is part two of the Misty Willow series and is contemporary-inspirational:

An Unlikely Couple Struggles to Reconcile the Burdens of Their Past

Dani Prescott came to the children’s hospital to spy on Brett Somers–so how did she end up on a date with him? Weeks earlier she’d seen an interview in which he blamed her mother for the plane crash that had killed his parents. But the crash had killed her mother as well, so Dani can’t believe the story Brett’s trying to sell to the media.

Vowing to find a way to discredit the privileged–and maddeningly handsome–Brett, Dani has been following him and taking photos, hoping to find something she can use against him. But when she catches his eye instead, she quickly finds herself offering up a fake name and agreeing to a date. Brett knows this mystery girl is hiding something–but he’s got his own secrets to keep. What will happen when he discovers who she really is? Will Dani and Brett look beyond their own heartaches to discover a love that could heal their deepest pain?

Fresh, flirty, and fast-paced, When Love Arrives is an engaging story that will have readers falling in love with the characters as they navigate the tricky waters between romance and revenge.

Forget Me Always by Sara Wolf ($9.99) hasn’t been released yet so this is an uncorrected advanced proof. Upon further investigation, it is actually a revision and was previously published as Savage Delight. It is also part of a series and is teen fiction.

Previously published as Savage Delight, this fully revised and updated edition is full of hilarity, drama, and heartbreak.
All warfare is deception. Even in high school.

It’s been nineteen days since Isis Blake forgot about him. The boy she can’t quite remember. She’s stuck in the hospital with a turban-size bandage on her head, more Jell-o than a human being should ever face, and a tiny bit of localized amnesia. Her only goal? To get out of this place before she becomes a complete nutjob herself.

But as Isis’s memories start to return, she realizes there’s something important there at the edges of her mind. Something that may mean the difference between life and death. Something about Sophia, Jack’s girlfriend.

Jack Hunter—the “Ice Prince”—remembers everything. Remembers Isis’s purple hair and her smart-ass mouth. Remembers that for a little while, Isis made him feel human. She made him feel. She burned a hole in the ice…and it’s time to freeze back up. Boys like him don’t deserve girls like her. Because Jack is dangerous. And that danger might be the only thing protecting her from something far more threatening.

Her past.

Race the Darkness by Abbie Roads ($7.99) is also not out yet so no reviews on Amazon but the Goodreads community loves it. Plus, it’s paranormal romantic suspense and perfect for the season!

Cursed with a terrible gift…

Criminal investigator Xander Stone doesn’t have to question you-he can hear your thoughts. Scarred by lightning, burdened with a power that gives him no peace, Xander struggles to maintain his sanity against the voice that haunts him day and night-the voice of a woman begging him to save her.

A gift that threatens to engulf them

Isleen Walker has long since given up hope of escape from the nightmare of captivity and torture that is draining her life, her mind, and her soul. Except…there is the man in her feverish dreams, the strangely beautiful man who beckons her to freedom and wholeness. And when he comes, if he comes, it will take all their combined fury and faith to overcome a madman bent on fulfilling a deadly prophecy.

I have received a Harlequin Novel in every box and this month’s selection was Her Halloween Treat by Tiffany Reisz  ($5.50). Again, perfect for this time of year!

Trick…or wicked treat!

It was a devastating dirty trick—Joey Silvia just found out her boyfriend of two years is married. What. A. Dick. Joey knows her best chance to get over one guy is to get under another. Of course, heading home to her family’s remote cabin in Oregon poses some challenges in the “available men” department…until she discovers this cabin comes with its own hot handyman!

Holy crap, Chris Steffensen. When did her brother’s best friend turn into a hard-bodied pile of blond-bearded hotness? He’s the perfect Halloween treat—and a surprisingly dirty rebound guy. For a couple of weeks, anyway. Except that Chris has other ideas…like proving to Joey that this blast from the past is a whole lot more than a naughty Halloween hookup.

As always, I love this box! All of the books this month were published this year so they are indeed fresh and they all had great ratings on Amazon and Goodreads. This month my box was worth $40.55 without the uncorrected proof, $50.44 with it (not including the pin and lollipop). The selections this month were from a variety of genres and I appreciate the fact that I now have several different books to choose from this month.
