My books arrived safely packed with paper to prevent them from moving around.

The product info card announced that the theme this month is “Delicious Autumn”. This takes on even more meaning when talking about cookbooks!

Baking… Made Simple by Parragon Books ($7.99) has lots of delicious looking recipes from sweet treats to savory bites and every recipe includes a full-color picture of the finished product. This book is from the U.K. so some of the ingredients are different than what you might find in a U.S. grocery store. “Light golden brown superfine sugar” and “12 brown sugar lumps, coarsely crushed” were two of the products that I would have to find substitutes for but most of the recipes contain stuff I most likely have in my kitchen. The measurements are in metric and standard so us Yanks can follow along just fine.

This fully illustrated recipe collection in a handy chunky format is sure to become your go-to guide for all things baking! Ideal for those just getting started in the kitchen, this easy recipe set with step-by-step instructions will help you turn out perfect cakes, cookies, pies, and much more. From our Cooking Made Simple collection.

Here’s one of the recipes so you can see the measurements and directions are fine for cooks on both sides of the pond.

Top Secret Recipes Step-By-Step: Secret Formulas With Photos For Duplicating Your Favorite Foods At Home by Todd Wilbur ($22 $14.66) is a book I can really sink my teeth into! I love to try making my favorite restaurant dishes for less in my kitchen and have already bookmarked several recipes such as The Cheesecake Factory Louisiana Chicken Pasta (page 61) and Chili’s California Grilled Chicken Flatbread (page 72). Some of the recipes are pretty quick and others are more time intensive but luckily you can find the Active and Inactive Prep Time, Difficulty Level, and Yield for each recipe so you can plan accordingly. Each recipe also has several mouthwatering photographs showing how to prep your masterpiece.

The #1 National Bestseller!

A knockout full-color cookbook from America’s Clone Recipe King

For more than twenty-five years, Todd Wilbur has been obsessed with recreating America’s most iconic brand-name foods at home. I loved my first Cookbook Case from BookCase.Club! The value for October’s box was $22.65, which is more than the price paid for the subscription plus shipping. I am most excited to try out my copycat recipes and will get a lot of use out of that book in the next few years!
