All the goodies in my August box!
Fancy Hand Fans “Zen” ($27) This folding hand fan is made of cherry wood and cotton with a Japanese style cherry blossom print with black lacquered wood.
The fan comes with complete instructions for “speaking” with your fan. A little old school but interesting!
Super pretty and fun! All of Fancy’s designs are imported from Tel Aviv. This is a fun accessory – but also a must for any menopausal women. I can’t tell you how many of my friends I see walking around with a hand fan!
Shea Terra Organics African Black Soap ($8) I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a full-size bar of this cult favorite in a subscription box before! It claims to have all the benefits of dermabrasion without the side effects, fighting acne, firming skin, and clearing pores.
The soap is made with virgin coconut cream oil, African black soap, certified organic shea butter, extra virgin olive oil, and is a fair trade item.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured ($38) Isn’t the compact for this so chic?
The product inside is a creamy pearl pigment skin “perfector” perfect for spot highlighting and strobing. It’s “poured” as opposed to the pressed version, and provides maximum color payoff (and ultimate blendability!).
Here it is applied straight on. The shade on this one is “Opal.”
Blended it provides an absolutely gorgeous sort of moonlit glow.
Karuna Exfoliating Foot Mask ($21) I absolutely love foot masks so I was thrilled to see these exfoliating masks in the box. They are perfect for fixing your feet at the end of summer. I loved the thoughtfulness of Indigo Beaux including 2 sets. I always use a set, wait a couple weeks for it to do its magic (usually these feet masks continue exfoliating for 7-10 days), and want to do it again. Now I can!
Mountain Rose Hibiscus High Tea and Bag ($8) Well I thought this was a tea that you stick in the bathtub, but it turns out that it’s for relaxing your body via drink! This blend includes organic hibiscus flowers, rosehips, lemongrass, orange peel, spearmint, rose petals, and stevia and is caffeine-free. Love that it’s minus the stimulants!
The retail value of this month’s box was over $100, which is really excellent. Everything was thoughtful, useful, and full size, and provided great sensory experiences for the whole body. I love that this subscription is including high end cosmetics along with the relaxation and spa items. It makes it super exciting to test out a super fancy product as well as get other much needed items, and everything is just so luxe – it’s a fantastic unboxing experience!
Spoiler alert! The September box includes the Kevyn Auçoin Creamy Glow Duo! Perfection!
