MorpheMe Brush Club June 2016 Subscription Review

MorpheMe is a monthly makeup brush subscription from LIVEGLAM that promises at least $30 worth of Morphe brushes each month for $19.99. This is a great way to quickly build up your brush collection! (Note: There was an annual subscription available but I can no longer find this option.)

Everything in the box! My MorpheMe brushes arrived in a padded mailer and had a protective sleeve around each item. I received 3 brushes in the June shipment and each of these brushes are part of the new Elite II Collection. Since they are not offering these items in their shop yet I cannot link back to them or give a precise value.

There was a product information card that listed which items are in this month’s bag. Last month they gave the retail price for the items but left it off this time so I went ahead and gave a value based on prices for similar items on their site.

The flip side of the card has information about the rewards program. You earn points both for being a subscriber and for each referral sign up. You can also win prizes for holding the lipsticked lips of the mailer up to your face, taking a selfie, and posting it on social media.

MorpheMe doesn’t guarantee a certain amount of items each month, however, they do state that the total value will be at least $30.

Morphe E3 Precision Pointed Powder Brush ($15?) A large brush for applying loose or pressed powder. Swirl powder into the brush and apply all over. This brush is tapered so it also fits under the lower eye.

Morphe E4 Angled Contour Brush ($10?) This is for sculpting and defining facial features. Use with powder foundation, blush, or bronzer and blend away.

Morphe E36 Detail Crease Brush ($5?) This would be good for applying shadow in the crease, under the lower lash line, or inner corner highlight. You can also use it for concealer. This is loose rather than firm so it is good for blending.

I really love this subscription but this month it was hard to pin down the exact items/values. I am glad that there was more of a variety this month! Subscribers have an account dashboard that has a monthly YouTube video about the brushes you received so you can learn how to use them. The brushes were soft yet firm where they needed to be and are very nice quality. I yanked on the brushes to see if the bristles would fall out but they stayed put. The June package was worth $30 (I think) so they also delivered on their promised value. Whether you are looking to expand your brush collection or just want to shake things up a bit this is a great way to do it!
