Magnolia Post Co is a Canadian fashion styling service. Each month there are a series of collections released and you can choose a look to order — it’s not a traditional subscription where you are billed monthly. Last month’s collection didn’t work for me, but it was still a lot of fun styling my friend who graciously agreed to model.

FYI – this subscription ships to Canada & the US! It’s priced at $85 CAD with shipping $14.95 to Canada & $19.95 to US.

Everything is nicely wrapped. I love the lotus flower logo.

The card on top is adorable! It made me smile right off the bat.

This is the Taylor collection, available June 15th! It features a blank tank with gold buttons and pockets, as well as a cardigan with a floral back for a very stylish two-toned look. Please excuse the lighting in these photos — my bathroom doesn’t have the greatest.

Active USA Black Sleeveless Top This top is thin fabric, but even with a patterned bra you won’t have problems in my experience. The gold buttons and pockets are adorable. This is a size M (as my box is a medium) but I could have fit an S — the neckhole is large and I found myself revealing slightly more and more skin as the day went on. The armholes are a good size — they don’t show any bra even if you lift your arms, but also don’t restrict movement. It’s 100% rayon so it’s very soft. I’ve worn this styled with the cardigan and jean shorts, but also on its own with loose-fitting beach pants and flipflops. It’s very versatile!

Two Toned Dolman Cardigan I can’t really make out the designer on the label, but it doesn’t matter, because this is cute as heck. The main body is polyester/rayon blend and the flowered contrast is 100% polyester. Again, I ordered this in an M as I’m normally an M, but this runs large so I could have fit a small — it doesn’t sit on my shoulders for very long and slips off of them. The sleeves are dolman and can be worn pulled down at the wrist, pulled up 3/4 sleeve, or shoved up to the elbows (which I like the most).

What do you do when you need to take a selfie but are too lazy to put on makeup? Slap on some lipstick and do it anyway. (My hair looks much more red than it actually is!)

As with last month, there are a lot of extra gifts included!

Wit & Glory Card ($5) I can’t get over how cute this card is, especially since ‘giving me the feels’ is a colloquialism I first heard on Tumblr and use all the time. I have no clue who I could give this card to, but I love it.

ElskaBody Body Lotion ($15) Okay, we all know by now how I feel about lavender. I will say it’s awesome that this is all natural, and made here in Canada! I’ll be gifting it, but I love how pretty the packaging is.

Tassel Scarf Necklace This is a necklace, which surprised me because it’s very heavy! I’m all for a statement necklace, but I had to get a hand with styling this on myself. I usually prefer silver over gold, but this worked well with the outfit.

Cedar & Stain Mug ($18) This mug is yooooog. 16oz! It’s not dishwasher safe, so handwash only, but it’s so cute I might use it instead as a pen holder for my desk.

Studio Aroma Eye Serum ($14) Wow, this is great! I’ve been looking for an undereye treatment and this sounds perfect for me — it’s all natural and has rose and chamomile in it. A little goes a long way with this. I’m excited to try!

I really liked my June collection — it’s much more my style compared to May, and I am happy with the outfit I received! I like that it’s not a subscription model that you need to commit to monthly, and you do get to pick your own outfit — the other outfit for June so wouldn’t have worked for me (I’m so short!) so having the option, and no commitment to choose at all, is really great.

If I could offer some feedback it would be how important sizing is. With the high price point (most collections are $85) and no refund option available (there is a Facebook group for swapping, but even that requires you to pay money to ship to someone!) I need to know that that the items are going to fit me. There are three options — Small, Medium, and Large — but no specific size information. Last month the item received was a long dress. I’m 5’1″, and a Medium, but my friend who modeled was 5’9″ and is also a Medium. The dress looked completely different on each of us, obviously! I would like to see the stylists provide much more detail about the items included — length, width, material of items. They use the same model for each collection — how tall is she? If a dress is knee-length on her, but she’s 5’5″, people would have a better idea of how it might look on themselves. This month’s collection ran large on me, and if I’d had sizing information I could have made a more educated decision on which size to choose!
