The April box is a nice mix of items. The boys (ages 7 and 17) liked that there were a few Marvel items included with the Star Wars fandom.
The POP! Pins Civil War Captain America ($5.99) arrived in time for those on the #TeamCap side of the Civil War. Funko makes great products. The movie is premiering Thursday, May 5th. T (age 17) has tickets for the first showing. He still can’t decide if he is #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan. Have you decided yet?
The Bioworld Marvel Captain America Socks are men’s crew socks. The socks have embedded arch support band and ventilated mesh instep. The material is 98% polyester and 2% spandex. I am beginning to think that PoweredUpGeek Box is Team Captain America. T loves the socks and will be wearing them to the movie.
Star Wars Day is May 4th. What better way than to celebrate with Star Wars merchandise! The Funko Wacky Wobbler Star Wars: Episode 7 – C-3PO ($7.38) introduces us to C-3PO’s red arm.
I am always impressed with the amount of details Funko puts in their products. All Funko boxes have arrived in excellent condition in the Powered Geek Box.
The Star Wars Wood Coaster Set ($7.55) is old school Star Wars! Hans Solo and Darth Vader are on top. Luke Skywalker and Bobo Fett are on the bottom.
The Star Wars Collapsible Water Bottle 12 oz. has the same design on the front and the back. It stands, fold and is freezable. It is top rack dishwater sage and is BPA free. We can always use more water bottles.
The Retro Star Wars May the Force Be With You t-shirt by FifthSun ($18.00) brings back memories. I remember learning how to draw block style lettering in elementary school. My husband has shirts from the 70s with stripes on the sleeves. Yes, that was what passed for fashion back in the 70s! It’s a great shirt!
Powered Geek Box nailed it this month. The first week of May is a huge week with Star Wars Day and the premiere of Captain America: Civil War. Powered Geek Box did a fantastic job covering both events. My little guy is excited about his Funko Pin. My teenager loves the remainder items. So I leave you with two final thoughts.
