MorpheMe is a monthly makeup brush subscription from LIVEGLAM that promises at least $30 worth of Morphe brushes each month for $19.99. They offer month-to-month plans or an annual subscription for $239.99. If you sign up for an annual subscription you will also receive a Morphe pallet worth $25 in your first package.

My MorpheMe brushes were shipped in a padded mailer and had a protective sleeve around each item. I received five brushes and noticed that the focus this month seems to be the eyes.

There wasn’t a product information card but there was a card that showed how you could win free brushes by holding the mailer up to your face and taking a selfie.

The brush sleeves had the brush number on it but luckily it is also on the brushes themselves so you can easily keep track of your collection. Some of the brushes looked fairly similar so I watched this clip to see the difference between the individual brushes. With the exception of the M510 all of the brushes are made of sable but the M510 is made of goat hair.

M330 Blending Crease ($5.99) This rounded brush is for blending and buffing your eyelid crease.

M504 Large Pointed Blender ($6.99) This is for blending shadows on the eyelid itself. I was worried that the brushes wouldn’t pick up the shadow since they are so soft but they did!

M505 Tapered Blending ($5.99) This is for blending all areas of the eye. Unlike the M330, the bristles are denser so you can really soften those eye shadow lines.

M508 Smudger ($3.99) This is for smudging shadow or liner around your eyes to get a smokey look. I expected to have shadow fall out (which may say more about the shadow rather than the brush) but it deposited the shadow without a messy sprinkling of colors under my eyes.

M510 Pro Round Blender ($7.99) This brush is bigger than the others and although it is for use on the eyes as an applicator or blender it can also be used to apply highlighter to your face and I used it for that very purpose. Score!

I loved my first MorpheMe package! I never knew that there were so many different variations of eye shadow blending brushes and although I would have preferred a better assortment of brushes I appreciate that they stuck to a theme. The brushes were soft and the quality is there. I yanked on the brushes to see if the bristles would fall out but they stayed put. The April package was worth $30.95 so they also delivered on their promised value. Whether you are looking to expand your brush collection or just want to shake things up a bit this is a great way to do it.
