White Willow Box is a fairly new Canadian subscription box featuring lifestyle items that are thoughtfully curated and selected. Boxes ship in the beginning of the month from Vancouver, so my box arrived the very next day — I do love instant gratification!

The packaging is beautiful and simple — even the satin ribbon bears the name of the box.

First look. I see Lindt bunnies! Everything is carefully wrapped and packed well so it doesn’t shift during transit.

The information card always features a pretty print.

It folds out to reveal the contents, details, and suggested retail prices. I’ve used the retail prices online (and converted to Canadian as well) for this review.

Mudlark Memento Boxed Notes ($15 USD/$20 CAD) I wasn’t able to find this specific style in the online shop, although they offer this design in other products like soaps, candle holders, and other things to match, which is really cool. This set features 20 cards, in four designs. I love the modern black and white with the splash of bright flowers!

La Tourangelle Basil Oil 250ml ($6.99 USD/$10 CAD) Sincerely excited about this! I love infused oils, though all of mine are olive and this is sunflower which I haven’t tried before. They recommend this with a tomato and mozzarella salad, which is my favourite kind of salad.

Oil Serving Dish ($6 CAD) This is a great pairing with the oil. You can use balsamic to fill the design and then pour oil over top for a cool presentation.

Konjac Sponge ($12 CAD) I just started using a konjac sponge a few months ago, and it’s a nice way to add gentle exfoliation to your skincare regimen. It’s made of vegetable/plant fiber and is pH balanced as well. They’re hard as a rock out of the package, but rinsing them under water for a minute softens them for use on skin. I like that this one has a string for you to hang it up to dry.

Lollia Perfumed Shower Gel ($22 USD/$29 CAD) This was the spoiler item for March. I’m hesitant to use this because I can’t easily determine whether Lollia uses sulfates in their body washes (I have sensitive skin) but I might gift this to a friend of mine who’s not cursed with those issues. The scent is light and floral, not too heavy.

March’s box evoked spring in every detail, from florals to plants and green. The bit of chocolate was appreciated, too!

I wanted to close this review by mentioning that White Willow Box reached out to us recently about our first review. They want to clarify that the jewelry roll’s inconsistent pricing was an issue out of their control. The price was discounted after the boxes had already been bundled and shipped.

This is a great box. Love how they give you an oil dish to go along with the oil.

I know, plus it’s actually really adorable! I’m not sure if I’ll use it myself (I don’t entertain or anything) but I might gift it to my mom. It’s her birthday soon. Shhh…
