March 2016 Loved + Blessed Subscription Box Review

Loved + Blessed is a Christian box with the mission of surprising you with a box full of encouragement each month.  Every month you will receive a mini poster, a reminder sticker of the monthly encouragement, a scripture card, and a surprise gift.

This month’s theme is Brokenness.  It’s about God mending any broken places in your life and looking forward to breaking through.  When I see all this pink in this month’s box I’m reminded that as a child I thought pink was way too girly but now I see pink as feminine, a loving nurturing color. They’ve also used caterpillars and butterflies in the explanations and clip art. Who doesn’t love to watch and look at butterflies?  

The items inside are nurturing items with a mini poster about becoming a butterfly.  There’s the sticker with another butterfly and saying.  A scripture card to slip into your pocket or give to a friend in need.  Also, the theme card, great card to give to a friend or person in need. 

There’s also the sewing kit as a reminder that God can mend any torn or broken places in your life.  Interestingly, I love to sew and my family brings me mending all the time.  Some are just sewing on a button or sewing back up a seam.  Others, like my oldest nephew brought me a 15 year old pair of pants that were his favorite.  They were pretty bad but I mended and mended and mended.  I’m only human so I let him know that if they fell apart again, it’s the rag bag for the pants.  BUT, God can keep on mending no matter how bad the problem is as long as we ask for His help.

Also included but not mentioned on the item list is a card that you can write on and pass on to a friend or family member to encourage them. 

And finally, there was a pen.  I love pens because I use them and move them and lose them all over the house and in my car and at other places.  So I’m always looking for a pen.  This one is the pink color with loved + blessed printed on the side. Maybe because it’s this beautiful pink color I’ll be able to spot it no matter where I leave it?  One can hope.
