Goodbeing, formerly Goodebox, is now using their Goodbeing boxes! Goodbeing is a little different than the standard beauty subscription box because it is a discovery service. You may receive beauty products, cosmetics, wellness and sustainable, toxin-free living goods. Each box will contain 4-5 products ranging from trial-size to full-size.

I love Goodbeing because it has a profile that you fill out upon joining.  The profile is comprehensive and took me about 15 minutes to fill out. It’s worth the time because the box is customized based upon your answers. It’s ideal for people like me that have specific skincare needs. My box may not look like your box. I would love to hear what is in your box!

Goodbeing includes information cards for each item. I keep the product cards that interest me. There is helpful information on the card.

Gia Minerals Blush

The Gia Minerals Blush – Stunning ($18) is a warm baby rose blush pink. I attempted to take a picture of a swatch a few times, but the swatch blended into my skin. The color works well for me because I have rosacea and am fair skinned. The last thing I want to do is add more color to my cheeks!

Kapalabati Cold & Sinus Oil
Kapalabati Cold & Sinus Oil

The Curandera Remedies Kapalabati Cold & Sinus Oil ($12) is a timely item. I’ve been trying different things to rid myself of a cold the last few days. A couple drops by my nasal passages cleared up my congestion. The essential oil blend is eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender, camphor and spruce in a neem infused grapeseed oil. Vitamin E is also in the herbal oil blend.

Yea - Balanced Guru!
Yay – Balanced Guru!

Now for the Balanced Guru products.

Balanced Guru
Balanced Guru

The Balanced Guru Face it Deeply ($10) is a deep pore facial cleanser. Here’s a great example of the customization that Goodbeing offers to subscribers. Balanced Guru offers four different cleansers. The cleanser that subscribers received is based on their profiles. I’ve wanted to try the cleanser and held off because my face does not always react well to aloe vera. The scent is light and pleasing. This is an excellent opportunity for me to try it out!

Balanced Guru
Balanced Guru Tone It Deeply Facial Toner

The Balanced Guru Tone It Deeply Toner ($9) is another item that I’ve wanted to try. The toner is a light, moisturizing toner. I like that both items were sent in the box.  It has a tea scent to it. Toner is an item that I rarely see in a box. Both the facial wash and toner are travel-size items.

Balanced Guru
Balanced Guru Nourish Me Facial Serum

The Balanced Guru Nourish Me Facial Serum ($22.99) is full-size. Serums tend to come in smaller bottles because they last a long time. I’ve used this serum before and liked it quite a bit. I will be using it right away because I am out of serum. Now my skincare routine will be precleanser  (sometimes), cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, oil. It sounds like a lot, but I have built it into my morning and nighttime routine.

I am very happy with my January Goodbeing box. I already used the sinus & cold oil, know the blush will work well with my skin tone, and am excited about the three Balanced Guru products. Even if I am not able to use the cleanser and toner because of my rosacea, I am still ahead because I do like the serum a lot. I almost ordered it when I placed a Balanced Guru order recently.

That is the value of having Goodbeing. The items are selected based on your profile allowing you to be able to use everything in your beauty box.  Rosacea is marked as a concern of mine in my profile. Unfortunately, it does not react well sometimes to aloe vera although others with rosacea find it healing. Goodbeing has opened my world to products that I wasn’t aware that existed or can use despite having rosacea.

The value of my $21.00 box is $71.99. Even if I subtract out the value of the cleanser and toner if I am not able to use them, I am still at a value of $52.99. Either value is very reasonable for me when it comes to a natural skincare, beauty, and wellness box.
