The Birchbox theme for November 2015 is Feeling Fancy, which they completely neglected to mention anywhere on the card. Birchbox is a beauty sampling subscription box. You’ll get at least 5 items every month (I often get more) to try out and see what you love. Birchbox is $10 a month, plus you accumulate points after reviewing the items in your box! You’ll get 10 points per item reviewed, and 100 points are equal to $10 in the shop.

Temple Spa La La Lagoon Aromatic Bath & Shower Gel ($3.02) I’m sorry, I could tell this was Gilchrest & Soames before I turned it over to the back. I have hotel toiletry radar. Love it in a hotel, not in my Birchbox.
Obliphica Professional Seaberry Serum – Fine to Medium ($8.77) I was all set to put this on my face and then I realized it was a hair serum. I am pretty excited though, because it’s for fine to medium hair like mine! Fine hair needs moisture too – just the right touch.
Harvey Prince Sincerely ($1.71) I love this scent and the sprayer (YAY!) was a generous size. Birchbox sends a lot of Harvey Prince items but I don’t know if I’ve met one yet I really dislike.
theBalm cosmetics Frat Boy Blush/Shadow ($1.41) This is really a lightly pigmented color – great for a little flush but not sure about the eyes. Ignore the dark spots on my arm – that’s LOC eyeshadow swatches from a few days ago.
LOC Vibrant Matte Lipstick ($8) Love these. See the swatch and the entire collection on my Love of Color makeup review, plus enter the giveaway for the Ultimate Collection!
The value of my box this month seemed really light – about $23 – a lot lower than previous boxes and about half of the Glam Life Guru curated box! Definitely wasn’t a fave box for me.

My box was a total dud, so don’t feel bad… you’re not alone.
I got the same box. Loved the lipstick color. Hated everything else. HP sincerely smells offensive. I am mixed and my hair is anything but fine textured. Hope next month is better.
