 Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream ($19) This smells great and is suitable for all sorts of hair types – it’s for thicker/fuller hair but using a little dab didn’t weigh my hair down. Because of the great scent I think this is perfect for holiday party coifs!

R+Co DEATH VALLEY Dry Shampoo ($7.37)  This is hilarious – I went to the Birchbox Store in Soho a few months ago (see my Birchbox Soho photos!) and I wanted to try this, but I didn’t and I kicked myself later. Tada, it finally showed up! It has a seriously hard spray which means it’s blasting the drying action right at your roots. This had an excellent scent and I would classify it as a light dry shampoo – enough to perk you up and absorb some oil – but no big texturizing action.

Ilia Beauty Tinted Lip Conditioner ($26) The color on this one is “Bang Bang”! Even though the color is bold, the application isn’t, and it’s a great way to add color and moisturize at the same time. Swatch below – I think that was 4 passes!

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Gilded Gold ($28) This is super shimmery and fun, and I love the understated look that you can get while still being festive with a metallic like this one!

Rituals Ginkgo’s Secret Hand Balm ($17) I love this hand balm, and now I have two! I totally neglected to review my October Allure Beauty Box, but it was in there, and I have been using it! It dries nongreasy and smells delicious but with a light fresh scent.

Umbra Magnolia Jewelry Dish ($10) I don’t think I would use this to collect tiny pieces, but a win for an extra landing spot for my jewelry!

Tata Harper Repairative Moisturizer ($20) I love botanical based moisturizers and this one uses aloes along with other remedies including calendula. Great scent and I’ll be saving this one to use when my skin needs TLC.

111SKIN Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel NAC Y² ($63) Perhaps one of the most expensive things I’ve ever put on my face! The card just calls this a potent eye gel, but the description on the Birchbox site reach Thierry Mugler levels of weirdness!

Sometimes it feels as though some non-earthly force has attacked the appearance of our eyes while we were asleep. Though it’s probably not dark circle-causing aliens, we still put up a space-age defense system against the circles, puffiness, and fine lines that forces outside our control create. This soothing eye gel uses a patented NAC Y² formula developed by a plastic surgeon and space scientist to stimulate the body’s glutathione—an antioxidant that strengthens the outer layer of the skin, protects vitality of epidermal cells, and stimulates cell regeneration. This formula hydrates the eye area while fighting all of these unfriendly eye troubles. Plus, this space-age gel is free of alien substances like parabens, paraffin, silicone, and sulphates.

Candlefish Candle Tin ($8) I received scent #82 Herbaceous – a blend of lavender, thyme, and vetiver. It was quite an unusual scent, and pretty rich – but I think great for the fall/winter season. 100% soy wax, poured in Charleston, SC.

Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer ($18) I find the overcap to these bottles unwieldly, but I cannot argue with this color, which is called Dark Like Me. It matches my 15 year old paint my nails black self, just 20 years in the future.

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Deluxe Neoprene Makeup Bag ($20) Whoopsie! Mine was missing.

It came! They have great customer service even when they mess up.

This was a totally amazing box! It packed in about $236 in luxury products into a $65 box and I really liked or loved all of the products. There are few that any beauty product loving woman wouldn’t really use, and you can break this one apart for gifts if you really need to, but I love it as a perfectly curated gift all by itself.  The Limited Edition Charmed Life Box is also now available.
