Blamtastic Skins Naturally Committed Lip Balm ($2.97) Blamtastic is an all-natural skincare line that’s sold at Wal-Mart, so if you want to find more, you can (great for items that girls fall in love with and need again!). I love the ingredients in this (all natural), the great taste, and the fact that it promotes no animal testing to young girls!
Ottilie & Lulu Clean Skin Face Wipes ($10) These are perfect for helping girls clean up and developing healthy hygiene habits as they grow. We have used these before but I’ve noticed that my daughter is paying a bit more attention to these types of items now that she’s approaching 7. I’m going to be packing these in the car so she can clean up after her twice a week CrossFit class!
Nap Sakzzz Pencil Pouch ($7.95) I thought this was sort of funny – it’s a pencil case that also works as a pillow! You can use it at your desk or on the bus when you’ve had a long day and just need a little rest. It’s super cute and girly and just a fun back to school themed item!
Vera Bradley Pencils ($18) We just organized pencils today and they’re out of control. I’m totally donating the whole lot of them and just replacing them with these. It makes things so put together to have everything matching. There are little jewels at the top!
Viv & Lou Pink Greek Key Cinch Sack ($20.95) I’m absolutely an organizer bag convert and believe you can never have too many pouches and bags to keep things organized! I’m going to fold this one up and put it in my daughter’s backpack for when she finds herself needing an extra bag for her school things. It would also be great for storing gym items or sleepover gear!
Hipsy Adjustable Headband ($11.99) This headband is non-slip, holds, and adjustable! If you have a little girl you already know that it’s a challenge to get their hair just right AND keep it in all day! My daughter is really into headbands and I know this one is going to get a lot of use – especially with all the bright colors!
Bonus treat!
The colors and patterns in this month’s Posh Pak were all about fun, which is what I always want to encourage school to be! The value of the box this month was around $72 and it was full of useful back to school items. I think a subscription for girls is a great reward item – or something you can subscribe to in order to have rewards to dole out all month. I’ve been starting to think about Christmas gifts for my child (we’re really sort of out of the toy zone – she was never big on them to begin with) and this would be a great selection too! The face cleansing items in the tween and teen boxes were the variation this month – with different cleansing products appropriate for those different ages.
