Another great box from my personal stylist!!! Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. Your stylist will send you 5 pieces based on your profile for you to try on at home and hopefully fall in love with. There are no coupons for Stitch Fix but if you hit the jackpot and keep everything, you save 25% on your whole fix (read below for details). My best friend also picked up a box for April, see her Stitch Fix review, too!

My stylist’s notes reveal that she is sending me items to layer around with things.  This box wasn’t a 100% hit, but it can’t be all the time! My good items were more than awesome enough to make up for it!

Every box includes a set of styling cards with suggestions on how to wear the particular item. There’s usually a dressed up and dressed down version for each piece of clothing.

Here’s how Stitch Fix works: fill out your style profile! This includes style, budget, what you’re looking for, and you can get as detailed as you want with the notes to your stylist. It really really does help to provide notes to what you’re seeking, and a Pinterest board if you have one! You will be charged a $20 styling fee and shipped five items to try on at home. If you keep anything your styling fee will be applied to your order, but if you don’t, you will pay the $20 fee. This is so worth it. If you keep everything you get a 25% discount, so it pays off to be specific. You will check out and get charged through your Stitch Fix account.

Urban Expressions Rex Hardware Detail Crossbody Hobo Bag ($68) Seriously, I was smiling like an idiot all night over this bag! It’s gorgeous and perfect and perfectly me! Look at those great hardware details!

And the bag is just perfection – so soft, slouchy yet structured. MWAH!

The side zippers actually work but it looks a little funny.

I love you. I kept you. Perfect for spring!

THML Tiller Sailboat Sweater ($68) My style guru Jackie says that this was a crazy hot Golden Tote item even though I don’t remember that at all (maybe while I was pregnant – I paid a bit less attention to clothes on the blog during that time! But don’t forget Stitch Fix does maternity now too!). Whatever! Loved it, kept it! I guess I am into whimsical prints. This one is just so fun!

Pixley Pheobe Chevron Print Sweater ($74) Wellll I like Chevron but this sweater wasn’t really right for me.

Market & Spruce Hollins Moto Vest ($64) Space dye, yes, Moto style, yes. All together…. this one wasn’t for me, and I like covering up my arms (I always have in my notes that I like toppers – I need to exclude vests, which I’m not into).

Papermoon Livy Shift Dress ($68) I didn’t love this one! The print wasn’t really me though the styling was good and the price wasn’t bad. However, because I was already rejecting 2 other items there wasn’t anything to tip the scales into keeping this one.

I’m crazy excited to see my next fix, especially since 2 of my items in my April Stitch Fix selection were out of the park wins for me! I was impressed for the second month with the reasonableness of the prices, and things just keep getting better with Stitch Fix – I’ve been reading articles about them in the news and the algorithms they’re creating to help stylists select clothing we love (but always including that human and personal touch) and I think it’s just going to get better!

I just started stitch fix too and it’s so fun. It would be fun to see you actually modeling the clothes 😉
